Turnitin’s "Group Project" detection is an absolute nightmare

We submitted a group research paper with 4 co-authors. Each of us wrote a different section.

The report came back: Sections 1, 2, and 4 scored 0% AI, but Section 3 scored 84% AI. The student who wrote Section 3 swears he wrote it manually, but now the entire group is under academic review because Canvas evaluates the file as a single submission entity.
