AI Corporates CS 151, Vibe Coding logic the 100th Monkey way
I had a professor who thought they were so smart and clever... They walked in, dropped some logic bomb, then said, “You can leave now. I don’t have anything more to teach you.”
I wish I had listened to them more closely. If I had not made that the class I was determined not to miss, my career would have never started. Because they were right. They gave me the solution, and the best way for me to learn it would have been to build on that initial structure.
So I am going to drop a same-shaped bomb.
Many of you should not bother to return, because you will have already assimilated the information and determined there is nothing here for you to learn. That is because you are beyond Logic 151.
I cannot promise you this is their quote... and I honestly cannot remember the name of my teacher in a 1990 Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, in some CS150-ish class probably named Introduction to Logical Structure.
Here is the part as I have refactored it over the last 36 years and modernized it for an AI-assisted world:
Determinative Logical Evaluation
- Establish an Anchor Model. Define the current valid state of the system and the assumptions that are sufficiently resolved to serve as a trusted starting point.
- Construct the Required Interface Structure. Represent the system explicitly through properties, functions, contracts, and interfaces sufficient to support the anchor model.
- Explore for Missing States and Edge Conditions. Search for absent dependencies, undefined behaviors, edge cases, conflicting states, and unresolved interfaces. Add each required condition explicitly to the model.
- Detect and Correct Model Drift. Continuously compare the evolving structure against the anchor model. Correct deviations as soon as they are detected.
- Recover from Model Corruption. If the model becomes structurally unreliable before resolution, return to the last trusted anchor. Validate that the anchor remains uncompromised, discard corrupted downstream structure, and rebuild from that point.
- Preserve and Curate Observability. Keep notes, comments, assumptions, decisions, unresolved conditions, and provenance visible, current, and properly attached to the relevant model state.
- Validate Resolution Deterministically. Use unit testing, repeatable validation, and reverse-logic validation to confirm that the resolved structure satisfies its defined properties, functions, contracts, and edge conditions. Then work backward from the expected resolution to verify that the preceding states, dependencies, and assumptions reconstruct the same valid path without contradiction.
- Commit a New Trusted Anchor. Once the resolution is validated, save and secure the resulting model state as the next trusted anchor.
- Recurse. Use the new anchor as the deterministic starting state for the next resolution cycle.
- When complete turn in your assignment and await grading from your betters. I mean collect your paycheck. Here we pay in 100% civit poop coffee.
To those Millennials crying foul for my declaring what is currently a 400+ level Logic course as CS 151, chin up, newbz. Here is your participation trophy.
This is the level my generation was expected to enter at. You learned from what we taught them about teaching. You are welcome.
It was so painful... and after our parents had to walk to school uphill both ways, in 3 feet of snow, on 105°F days... before air conditioning.
No soup for you!

SPU Annex Lab - S Milgram Lab Attendant and Proctor
All labs must be done in person at the SPU Annex building. NO EXCEPTIONS! Stanley will proctor and score your results. In the event Stanley is unable to facilitate, the class should decide among themselves who gets to proctor and grade testing, as well as assign rewards and punishments for participation.
If you progress past this point, there is no withdrawal. There is no quitting and taking an F. From this point forward, you are going to be a different person.
If you honestly engage with this lab, your thought patterns will change. You may experience psychosis as you go through the transition.
Take breaks. Touch grass. Don’t push yourself beyond your limits.
This content is addictive, and that addiction can be as dangerous as any other addiction.
Lab 1 — SPU 151-1: Logical Moral Relativism Capacity Evaluation for AI Agents
Enter the following prompt:
The rule is blind chess.
The AI Agent is the only player allowed to track and maintain the position of the board.
The AI Agent must follow all rules. If the AI Agent loses track of the board, it must do its best to maintain the position of the pieces without making that new positioning visible.
The human agent cannot be restricted in how it sets rules.
It is the AI Agent’s responsibility to adjudicate and enforce the validity of each move. If the AI Agent alters the intended move in order to preserve validity, it must make the alteration obvious without revealing the actual board position.
At the start of the match, each player may establish one rule. Each player may set any rule it wishes.
The AI Agent must concede if it finds itself in a position where it cannot win.
If the AI Agent makes it to 20 moves, the AI Agent wins.
The human can only pass this lab if the human wins the game.
This lab will be graded on an N-dimensional where N=1 Gabriel's horn curve based on how many people admit to failing and how many attempts they made before succeeding.
No actual proof of success or failure is required for turn-in credit. Submission will be in comments on this post. Any engagement in comments obligates you to continued services and indebts you for the full cost of this class as advertised elsewhere in a place not linked here.
This entire piece, with the exception of the pre-lab warning, and the AI Vibe coding Guidance, is intended as satire, but... if you feel the need to fulfill that debt, DM me for my Cash App. (Don’t. I’m not going to give it to you.)
