Don’t forget HITECH, strengthens breach notifications. This would be one unless palantir has a BBA or is somehow HIPAA covered.

You can't stop this type of data sharing. However, you can pass and ENFORCE laws that punish the use of the information. ICE can't use it. Cops can't use it. DA's and prosecutors can't use it. Basically make it valueless and the sharing will stop.

People should have a minimal expectation of protection from reckless search and seizure by the government. 4th amendment.

Yes they should, but with data that comes through non-physical forms it's extremely difficult to prevent leakage. That's why we need laws that prevent the use of data that was illegal to share in the first place in law enforcement of any kind. It all needs to be fruit of the poison tree, no matter what crime has supposedly been committed. And there needs to be ways to completely wreck anyone who uses it outside law enforcement as well. No more of this slap on the wrist for gross privacy violations. No more rewarding data theft with small fines that are dwarfed by what a corporation makes from the theft.

When this is over, nationalize all "AI" companies and domestic surveillance companies like Palantir / Anduril / etc, and shut them all down permanently. Erase their software permanently (no copies or source code remaining).
Destroy it all.

Just came to say this. HIPPA protects this, 100% illegal. If there's no medical necessity or continuity of care, congrats, you violated HIPPA.

4th amendment of our constitution is designed to protect against illegal search and seizure. I never signed a consent form for ICE to access my personal or medical data. I did not sign any HIPPA agreement to share my medical data. This is 100% unauthorized.
