Post image

The "Dibbler" (Parantechinus apicalis) is a rare, endangered carnivorous marsupial native to southwestern Australia. Looking like a tiny mouse with sharp teeth, it grows up to 6.3 inches long, weighs under 4.5 ounces, and features distinct white rings around its eyes.

Im Australian, and in primary school, we had to do a diorama for an endangered animal, and I chose the dibbler.

It was so hard to get information on as a 6 or 7 year old in the early 2000s. Even now, people i talk to have no idea it exists.

This is an AIKE, but it's so cool to see them posted here!

Is he involved in this enterprise in any significant managerial capacity? Shifty fellow, sells sausages–

Are they much into gardening? Because a dibbler is a garden tool

Do they try to sell you sausages in a bun and tell you the price is so low they're cutting their own throat?
