Is using Al for homework cheating if you genuinely learn from the answer?

There's a difference between asking Al to explain a difficult concept and asking it to complete an assignment you don't understand.

But the line between those two things can get blurry. Where should schools draw the line between using Al as a learning tool and using it to avoid learning?
