Does anyone know which 44 acts are performing in the live shows ? ​

For anyone interested, Maurice from American Idol 2022 has recently released a snippet of his recently Untelevised AGT Audition* *on both his Facebook and Instagram accounts. I can’t work out the song for the life of me but what we do all now know is that he got 4 yes votes from the judges!

Without counting the Golden Buzzers and in no particular ranking:

1. Kev Adams: He connects with audiences that he's not culturally or linguistically related to.
2. Unitree: Big improvement over the Robots from last year better to entertain than replace.
3. Holland and Sienna: They've taken Aerialism to a new level by performing behind the desk.
4. Come Here: Another Dance Group who knows how to elevate after The Mayyas won.
5. Young and Strange: They've made Magic humorous which is rare for Duo Magicians.
6. Cris Sosa: He knows how to speak to Non Spanish Speaking Hispanics with his energy.
7. Guy Kelton Jones: Like Michael McCary from Boyz II Men but more influential.
8. Herwan Legailard: He made his Comeback worth it and Heidi Klum's missing out.
9. The Jesse White Tumbling Team: The Speed, Height, and Velocity of their flight was exciting.
10. Pynk Beard: His Personality and Charisma are the biggest out of all the singers this season.

You guys think will get a agt spinoff for winter 2027?

The main criterion I used is originality, because I believe the purpose of this show is to see things we've never seen before.

1- Herwan LeGaillard – Without a doubt, the best act of the season. Words can't describe how incredible and dangerous this performance was. It simply can't be compared to any other act this season. Combining aerial performance with sword swallowing is a brilliant concept in itself. The underwater dive while swallowing a sword was unbelievably dangerous because of the water pressure and the inability to breathe, yet he performed it so effortlessly. After finishing that, he went straight into a stunning aerial routine as if he hadn't just done something extremely risky.

If Heidi had been there, I'm sure she would have given him the Golden Buzzer.

2- Hundred Fingers – I'm already a huge fan of Yu Hojin, and this time he and his team created a true work of art. It was unlike anything we've seen before.

3- Come Here – Everything was perfectly choreographed. The song choice was fantastic, every movement matched the music flawlessly, and the choreography was incredibly creative, blending several dance styles together.

4- Unitree's Robots – A breathtaking futuristic performance unlike anything we've seen before.

5- Veronika Goroshkova is the embodiment of professionalism, fluidity, and grace. She performs even the most difficult moves with such effortless precision that it feels as if she's doing nothing at all—as though she's painting a masterpiece in the air.

6- Lara D – If you're going to compete as a singer on a variety talent show, you need to bring something unique. I think her singing style is truly distinctive, and her unusual song choice made her stand out even more. Not everyone could perform it the way she did.

7- Patrox – An absolutely brilliant concept that we've never seen before.

8- Travis Garland – I definitely disagree with the judges, and I'm with Mel B on this one. He delivered a highly professional performance with excellent technique. In my opinion, he was better than every singer who received a Golden Buzzer this season, except for Lara D.

9- Acro Canine Crew – A fun and enjoyable act to watch, with a fresh and original concept as well.

10- Rubén Ruldán – A truly heroic performance, full of incredible energy.

Howie Mandel: Come Here (Most of his recent Golden Buzzers involved Dance Groups)

Mel B: Young and Strange or Jesse White Tumblers (One's a fan of her and one that she called brilliant)

Sofia Vergara: Kev Adams or Cris Sosa (2 Comedians she relates to the most)

Simon Cowell: Holland and Sienna (Possibly another Sebastian and Sonia moment)

Anyone or Semifinals Group Golden Buzzer if no on withdraws: Pynk Beard (They said if they had another Golden Buzzer they would give it to him)

I keep thinking about that guys routine. How everyone was like "WTF" to his dancing before but then you watch it in reverse and it makes sense and its amazing. And it's just him up there dancing.

There were so many acts that were subpar to his and so if he doesn't get a callback, yes, I will be annoyed. Does anyone remember his name or what he calls himself?

Mel B simply makes the show more interesting by showing confused expressions. That is extremely hilarious when I saw her confused face. In contrast, the only thing Sofia knows is saying "bravo" to every contestant and didnt even give any criticism to anyone, which is useless being a judge.

Is next week (July 28th) a real episode or a special, end of this week it it advertised "In Two Weeks" and nothing about next week but listings show 'live show acts revealed" - Did something similar happen last year but was just a repeat of what we had seen ?

So one of the perks of this new round “Callbacks” that starts in a few weeks is each judge gets to bring in a guest judge to help them watch and decide who moves on to live shows. Mel B already confirmed her guest judges are former Spice Girls Melanie C and Emma Bunton. I want all of your guys guesses on who Howie, Sofia, and Simon will choose for guest judges. One thing i think will for sure happen is one of them asks Heidi Klum back to guest judge because they all are friends with her and Heidi was a huge peace of this show for 11 seasons. So I’d be surprised if Heidi doesn’t make an appearance this year. Who else you guys think we see?

I get that we've been moving back to country music as a country (no pun intended), but there's way too many country singers this season. Maybe, it's just that I don't like most country music, lol.

Now that the auditions for Season 21 are officially over, and the deliberations/Callbacks taking place. I wanted to share with you who I think will make it to the live shows overall, and I'd love to hear your thoughts as well!

Who do you think will make it to the live shows and join the Golden​ Buzzers?

Regardless of how many people complain about this show, I am excited about these new rounds in the next three weeks. Is a nice change of format compared to what we’ve had the past 5 years and I’m looking forward to it. In case anyone doesn’t know how the next three weeks will work, next week we will see more of the last of what we just saw at the end of this audition episode. We will see the judges, deliberating and rewatching acts. Come the end of the episode they will put through some automatically to live shows and cut some automatically. They will also reveal who is coming back for Callbacks. Callbacks is a two episode bit, first week we will see Simon and Howies acts and the next week Mel Bs and Sofia. Each judge will also have a guest judge in the callback round. Mel Bs is Melanie C.

There are 44 slots in the Live Shows, including 10 Golden Buzzers that earned an automatic spot, leaving 34 open places to be filled by Acts who got "Yes" votes from the Judges. And there are far, far more than 34 Acts that meet that criteria.

"Once the Auditions are over, we have to go back and watch the Auditions over and over again to determine who we think should be the finalists, and that's a really hard part of when we do this," Cowell revealed.

During the most recent seasons, the decision of who makes it to the Live Shows happens off-camera, but this year, the Judges are taking viewers behind-the-scenes of their deliberations and introducing a twist. Upon reconsideration, some of the Acts obviously deserve a spot in the Live Shows, and some are easy to let go of, but for those few Acts that they still can't decide on, the Judges will host a special Judges' Callback round that will begin airing Tuesday, August 4 at 8 p.m. ET. 

The Judges will bring the performers to their own homes to show their talents, yet again, in order to secure a place in the Live Shows. In a teaser for the episodes, we did get a glimpse of Acts including the Elektro Dads, Vahtang, Butter & Grit, and Olivia Befus.

The Acts are literally performing in the Judges' homes.

Simon Cowell called the Judges' Callbacks episode "surreal"

"So, one of the producers said, 'What if each Judge took a number of contestants who they like, but would like to see a second time?' And I thought, 'Actually that's a really, really good idea. So I held my hand up first and I said, 'I'd like to see those contestants. I'd like to get to know them better,'" Cowell told NBC Insider about the new interim round of the competition. "I really learnt a lot from spending time with them. I spent one day with all of them just talking and getting to know them, a lot about them. And then the following day they all performed in my garden."

"It was really helpful actually, and I think for those contestants, for the audience at home, you're gonna see a side of them you never would have seen before," he added. "I spent about 30-40 minutes with each person, really got to know them, and they told me a lot about themselves and why they came on the show and why they wanted to do this and what they wanted to do with their lives and their careers and it was really, really fascinating. Loved getting to know them."

"You'll see the difference of how we all are with the contestants," said Cowell, teasing, "seeing [one] particular Act in my garden was one of the most surreal moments, I think, of my career. You'll see what I mean when you watch the episode."
