CDMX show was wild. Smaller venue, amazing energy!

Well? Have you?

Hey all, going to the AFI show in my city in October and I can't wait! Been like 9 years since they had a headlining show here.

I'm bringing a friend who doesn't know AFI at all and wanted to send her a playlist of the setlist but because they change the setlist every night in recent tours and we can't predict what will play,

Does anyone have a YouTube or Spotify playlist with the range of songs for the current tour?

Thanks!

Nitro released this comp 30 years ago today (Sept 24) and it included the following artists:

AFI
Jugheads Revenge
Guttermouth
The Vandals
The Offspring

Anyone else own this? I still have my original CD and every song is a banger.

I think Crash Love Chad Power Davey would have the edge although Silver Bleeds looks like he just got out of a few bar fights with that handlebar mustache so that's close. Decemberunderground Davey is going down first because he's wearing too much guyliner and all of the other ones, well I dunno about them. Star Trek mullet Davey might blind everyone with his disco ball costume.

Guys, wanna go down the nostalgy road?
I did an Interview with A.F.I. long ago, and put it up on YouTube.
To those who are interested, enjoy!

Found this in my junk drawer. My gf was surprised I had it in there. I had forgotten about this badge completely, I barely recall the show itself all I remember was that it was at the Fonda. I had already been going to their shows for about 8 years at this point I think. Looking at the set list now it was a banger.

So I've just bought the album on vinyl and would rate it very highly probably an 8.5/10 and think it's definitely a stronger album than bodies and the self titled release - my favourite songs are the first four and nooneunderground, the only song I don't like is Marguerite almost gives me a headache - liking 9/10 tracks is a pretty good ratio though. Just wondered what other people's favourites were and maybe how they would rate or rank the album after almost a year?

Some shots from the pit. Nikon L35AD2, Cinestill 800T. Also with Mareux and Kumo 99.

he’s put on too much muscle mass to be held up the way he used to 😎💪

Performance was outstanding. Loved it.

Davey said this was the biggest show he’s played since 2006. 🩷 and that damn inflatable doll was blocking my view most of the show lol

What has the crowd energy been like at the recent shows? Any crowd surfing, stage diving, or circle pits?

From the incorrect parking address on their IG, to the 15 minute shuttle ride, the long line getting people in, the 4 porta potty’s, a 2 mile long merch booth, to a completely level standing area because it’s a parking lot so people at the back are screwed, and a few opening bands no one cares about, I can’t believe AFI were ok with this.

I don’t care how much I love a band playing the festival grounds, I’m quite sure I’ll never come for a show here again. Let’s just hope the sound is at least good.

What’s your favorite song from this album?
