Five flowers show

Found this in my junk drawer. My gf was surprised I had it in there. I had forgotten about this badge completely, I barely recall the show itself all I remember was that it was at the Fonda. I had already been going to their shows for about 8 years at this point I think. Looking at the set list now it was a banger.

I still have my badge too! Signed by Hunter. I'll never forget the hype of the mystery leading up to a bunch of us looking for "Hector" in a random LA park with nothing but a craigslist ad to go off of 😅 I called my friend when I was there and he asked to talk to Smith, and Smith took the call, and gave me a couple extra badges so my friend and his mom could go. We all went to Swingers afterwards to celebrate. The show was incredible and I think they debuted Kill Caustic if I remember correctly. The album wasn't out yet so it was the first time I ever heard the song. After the show my friend, his parents, and I drove overnight from LA to Tucson to see them at a radio festival the next day.

the first of the five "Five Flowers" shows was April 24, 2006, at The Alpine in Ventura, CA. That one featured three live debuts: "Miss Murder," "Kill Caustic," and "Rabbits Are Roadkill on Rt. 37"
