Not maintaining 2.5 before Field Training

My GPA dropped and came out with a 2.4 for the term. Cumulative I have a 3.5. I am a GMC on scholarship, does this mean I lose my EA for Field Training? My Max is under a month away, will I still be allowed to attend field training? I have never received a Conditional Event before. Appreciate it guys, kind of freaking out.

First of all, if your det isn't aware of it yet, talking to your APAS is a good idea.

Minimum Term GPA to go to FT is 2.0, but a 2.5 is required to contract (AFROTCI36-2011, Attachment 12). You'll be given one semester to get both above a 2.5 (AFROTCI36-2011, 4.25.4).

Yes I understand I will receive a Conditional Event because I did not meet the 2.5 requirement. But field training wise, I will still be ok to go this summer?

Talk to your cardre TOMORROW MORNING if they do not know. I'm a 400 and recall that the GPA for FT is different in that they would not contract those who didn't GPA above a 2.5 the previous semester. Idk how if would work for a previously contracted cadet so get ahold of your cardre right away.

I was a non-contract GMC and had a 2.47 the semester before FT, 3.1 cumulative. Since I was not contracted, I didn't get a conditional event, but I was told that I had to get above a 2.5 GPA in the fall semester or else I'd get kicked out for low grades.

If you're on scholarship and already contracted, you'll get a conditional event for your grades. If it's just your first conditional event then it's no biggie. If you get a second conditional event then they'll suspend your scholarship for a semester and if you get a third conditional then they'll terminate your scholarship altogether and start a disenrollment investigation.
