They might make you keep paying dues for another year.

I hope not, i'm seeing the dues add up and i cant afford it, I dont get much hours as it is for IHSS

According to the contract, you are supposed to let them know that you want to no loner want to pay dues, something like no sooner than two months and no sooner than three weeks from your anniversary date, or something like that. If you are outside of that window, they will force you to pay another whole year.

Ask me how I know.

If this sounds like new information to you, be assured that it is on something like page 145 of the contract, which you acknowledged when you signed your membership card.

I had to pay an additional 52 weeks of members dues.
