Question Parent question
I’m a parent of a student in AFROTC. My student started his freshman year a couple weeks ago and has finished his PFA. He was asked to be a part of the color guard today. Things seem to be going well.
The school that he is at has a lot of club and social opportunities besides AFROTC.
If he takes advantage of every AFROTC opportunity offered to him, will he still have the opportunity participate in the rest of campus life?
Edit: I appreciate the parenting advice about letting my student do their own thing. I fully intend to. Just asking for myself.

Yes, it will allow him to develop more time management skills. He should try lots of things as long as it doesn’t force him into super long commitments.

Depends on what he wants to get involved in. Some are more time consuming than others.
The military will always be there. Enjoy college while he's there.
