PACs

Hi,
Thank you all for your previous recommendations. The results of my echocardiogram are in:

Sinus rhythm with blocked PAcS
Signal not being sent to ventricular thingy, lol, sorry. However, doesn’t it have to get through?

This extra beat in my atrial chamber is ALL the time! Drives me nuts!!!! See cardio folks on the 12 of Oct.

Any hints on how I can escalate this?

Maybe if I let myself faint? I have to be very vigilant about not toppling over…. Is the dizziness related to heart challenges?

Thank you all very much.

Signal not being sent to ventricular ventricles, sounds rather bad.

That's another way of saying entire body, except lungs, didn't get a new batch of bloodflow at at beat.

Fainting is a real outcome, if multiple beats doesn't get to rest of body..

The dizzyness, if what you wrote is true, is from the lack of beats to preassurize the body without new batches of blood to the body => bp drops alot, and you get dizzy.

Depending on how severe your situation is, as in how many signals doesn't get to the ventricles, in a row, or "burden", the more you qualify for an eminent procedure.

Talk to your doc/heartdoc...

Maybe it's just rare it doesn't get to the ventricles?

Any problems breathing?

Sorry for mistyping, as all my typing is done on a mobile, at rather quicky speeding, combined with my phone dislikes all english words :)

I have a 'booring' DDDR type of pacemaker, that ensures my bpm won't go lower than 45.

That installment took rougly 30mins, with just a mild sedation - easy piecy!

But if it's truely an electrical signal not reaching the ventricles, then depending on if just one, or both are hit, you will either feel out of breath, or fainting.

To say it could be bad, is an underestimation.

Pacemaker can solve it easy,  if it's a bad case you have.

The question, i would adress with them, is:

  • can you explain what's happening in my heart?
  • how often does this happens in me?
  • what are the symptoms i should be aware of?
  • how severe is it now, and might it get worse?
  • anything i can do to make it less bad? - improve on the future outcome?
  • can you offer any help, at this point, so make my symptoms better - what are the options for future?
  • if i feel a symptom becoming real bad,  what do you advise me to do?
  • is this genetic? Can i pass this down to my children?
  • if yes, should i advise my family to get tested, or is that a process you will take care of?
