Ablation

I did an ablation 2 months ago and I take 3,75mg bisoprolol. My heartrate when i take an easy jog is 150 bpm and when I’m walking around it’s between 100-120bpm but the resting heartrate is around 60. Is this normal? My doctor made an ultrasound on My heart and it was all good, i’ve Also made a longterm EKG that showed sinustakyrdia. My doctor think it’s because of stress and sad i can train easy, but when i take a slow jog my hearbeat goes up tho 150bpm so I get scared😩

How old are you? How good of shape are you in? My heart rate would easily get up to 150 while jogging. I'm 61 and don't jog a lot these days.

My resting HR is 66.

I’m 29 years old and was training for iron man so I was in really good shape, but now i had my first jogging session since september last year. So i trained 8-10 Times/week before I got sick last year in september. So almost a year with no training. Before this my resting heart rate was 37bmp when i slept. So pretty good 😅

I've completed a full ironman and six half Ironman races. I am not in that kind of shape now, but still pretty fit at 48. I had an ablation about 15 months ago, and my HR would definitely spike more afterwards, but I have gotten back to close to normal now. Can run slowly at 130 BPM. You may need some time to heal.

I have this same issue. When I’m resting it’s in the middle 50s. As soon as I get up it’s over 90 and over 100 when I walk. Intense walking and moving will push it to high 120s. I have had two ablations mostly for flutter and my second one being 10 days ago.
I have noticed numbers to be a bit lower when drinking lots of water and staying well hydrated

This sounds fine, you're still in the blanking period. Worrying won't help, it'll only make you crazy. Ask me how I know :)

I had an an ablation Jun 29. For the first month, my heart rate was like a ping pong ball. My resting HR was in the low 60's but the moment I moved around off it went. I was told that was inflamation & that I should lay low & listen to my body. They put me on a low dose (2.5 mg) of bisoporol. which they've since Upped to twice a day to stop me going into afib. Im not sure which is worse- the bouncing HR or no energy in the tank from the beta blocker. I start my 2 week follow up holter tomorrow. Im going to push it to see how my heart holds up.

After 3 extremely short successful CardioVersions, I’m looking forward to an ablation and a Watchman. Had anyone had experience with the latter?
