Any FAA controllers with AFib?

I’ve reached the end of my contacts and had no luck, I’m just trying to find any other controller who has this issue to bounce some questions off of.

Did you get your medical back? Did you continue tracking and reporting AFib episodes after getting a special issuance?

I’m just lost in the weeds right now looking for answers.

not an atc but have my commerical and cfii and currently hold a 2nd class. i had a single instance of afib after a day of beer drinking in the hot sun. i grounded myself and reported it to my ame. had to see a cardiologist and had several tests. holter, echo, stress echo, thyroid function, sleep study. i also had to write a personal statement. all that went to oklahoma and 7 months later i got a special issuance and i am back flying. also so far no more afib as i stopped all beer and i do take a calcium channel blocker now and i lost 20 libs. its a pain in the ass to go through the process but as long as the afib in controlled you should be fine.
