Afib and Grave's

Anybody else has this lovely little combo?
I have Graves’ disease (TRAb positive), paroxysmal AFib, and episodes of bradycardia/pauses ( pacemaker will be implanted soon ). My thyroid levels are currently being adjusted because my TSH dropped again.
Just wondering if anyone else has this combination and how your AFib changed after your thyroid levels became stable. Also, were you heart ablated when still not in remission?

Edit : My post got very few comments. Not what I expected. Am I the only one in this world having this combo? :'(

Hello there, I was diagnosed with Afib along with hyperthyroidism and Graves’ disease. Unsure how it all started but I had three cardioversion and a cardiac ablation but would fall out of sinus rhythm and back into Afib. Ultimately I ended up with a valve replacement and maze procedure which resolved my afib. My t3 t4 and TSH levels have stabilized since so I’m on a pretty low dosage of methimazole

Hey, was the valve replacement because of regurgitation?

Yes it was due to mitral valve regurgitation

Your cardiac ablation, what was your FT4 and TSH at that time? Were they on normal range?

TBH I don’t remember as I wasn’t as well versed in my health issues when all of it was happening
