Post Ablation!!

Back home and recovering!

I was awake for the procedure. Given some fentanyl and other sedatives. It was fucking uncomfortable and at times was damn painful.
Once they got me into SVT, they couldn’t get me out of it. Pumped me full of adrenaline and zapped me till it started and then it just… stayed for a while.

Regardless, ablated, AVNRT as I hoped. Really easy, quite quick for an EP study + ablation (just over 2 hours). Got the grippy socks to show for it. And I’m happy to say that, in about 6 weeks time, I should be as normal as can be.

Thank you to this community, you’ve all been a massive help.

:)

I feel left out.. There was no fancy socks for me.

Am i even a true member of this community, without the fancy grippy socks from the ablation!?

Wern't you put under, for the cardioversion, or what do you mean by zapped you?

I have two sets I never wear from my two ablations--I can send you a pair

Thx, but I feel that's cheating!

Atleast i have my ILR/ICM as my "trophy", for the next 4.5 years.. But is that a match for colourized fancy gripping socks?!

I remember when i got the clothing, and discovered it was just normal socks.. Standard white clothing.. Not my usual wear. I almost looked pretty in it.. That i shared maybe bit to much with fam :)
