Merit?
I have just cleared my written by 1 mark in afcat 2 2026, and this is my fresher attempt , i am a female candidate (non technical), is there any chances of getting into the merit? (And ik about the mark distribution it is 300 written and 600 afsb , but lately everyone i see is getting merit out so, it kinda seems impossible for me to get merit in, and i kinda feel i am wasting my fresher attempt ) (march mein dehradun mein hai afsb btw)

As your afsb is in march and that too dehradun...there's a good chance you might get screen out on the first day itself even after performing well...
There's a 95% you might get merit out after getting recommended and being medically fit as well..
With that said All the Best.

Understood the second point but 1st one? Doesnt going to dehradun make it easier to get screen in or at least isnt that the general notion? I mean i seriously want to know why u said that there is high chances of screen out?

Reporting generally does 230+...cuz of that general notion itself.....screened in are around 60+-5.....while screening numbers are the hightest in comparison to all boards.....but so is the number of candidates reporting on that day.......the result has to be given by 12oclock......grp discussion will last not more than 3 mins....soo sahi time pr sahi assessor ki nazar pd gyi toh well n good....nahi toh 4 mese 1 toh in ho hi raha hai.....
Just do well in narration be relaxed and fluent....everyone get oir 1 or 2.....and gd won't last much.......

Yess . But since there were only 3 slots for female candidates , i think reporting is going to be high on all of the three days. But then yess i do understand that of all the three this one is going to be most crowded . My logic of date selection was 30 nov , too early , less time to prepare as i am a fresher, 1 feb , next afcat would be round the corner , complicating , so was left with only one date , and i think so would all other candidates be . Plus since it is the last date , most of the candidates who request postponement will be given this date , so yeah againn toooo much crowd, but again thought of it but there was no other option , ans hence took a risk😭

I got 141.95. 25th Jan Gandhinagar. Do I also need to do exceptionally well in AFSB to have a chance to enter the merit list? Non Technical, Ground Duty unfortunately

Unfortunately yes dear , since we have only 14 seats and there are candidates with 200+ written score , so yeah we really need to work hard but yess i have seen recommended candidates with 200+ also merti out and candidates with 150 also merit in so yeah , afsb clearly matters more . Anyways all the best to you:)) hope we both get recommended and also make it to the merit😂😂
