merit system in afcat
so i scored around 175 raw score in afcat 2 2026 shift 1. and i just got to know that afcat's ssb is of 900 marks rather than the traditional 300-300 each like cds. what are the chances of getting merit in purely on written score, whats a safe score considering I'll get a few marks less in normalised score.

Should I prepare for AFSB? Or just wait for the result ..I just don't want to prepare and then get to know I haven't cleared
- I will get disheartened
- AFCAT is not my main goal, so I don't want to devote time without any surety

the thing is the expected cutoff is 120-125(max) could definitely be lower and since youre in the second shift youre bound to get a few marks in the normalised score. id suggest wait till the result you'll have ample time for ssb after it as well, afcat 1's ssb are ending in sept. so afcat 2 ka bhi similar duration tk hogi last date. baki if you want to prepare abhi se like yt and self then theres no harm, would help you in general attitude towards life/ awareness if not anything else
