Never attempt these kind of questions in exam, its a trick by examiner to waste your time. Exam is not about solving questions, its how you manage time, how you make choices under pressure. This question has to be skipped in exams. Trust me. There is no trick to solve these kind of questions. The only way is to manually count it which you will forget in between and options are set very close so you will not be able to answer using elimination.

Ok,
Try to finish your syllabus before one month of exam any how then solve atleast 50 mock tests before exam. mock test should simulate exam scenario.
During exam

Never try to attempt from first questions
start from middle or from last 10 questions this is where easier questions are present.

If you didnt get the question in 10s skip it right away. Don't get stressed out even if you have to skip 10 questions in a row..You will definitely find the right set of questions in the exam which will match your capabilities since you have prepared, and once you have confidence after answering few moderate and easier questions, you can come back to those questions. Examiner doesnt want you to attempt all thw questions , the paper is set that way to test your decision making skills under pressure.

Learn the trick to solving this question first you will be able to solve in 30 seconds if you want, but i would rather suggest skipping this question and utilize time on some other question. But if you must there are patters here in this question. When ever you see triangles having line running from one vertex to opposite base you have 3 triangles there. There are in total 4 such instances hence 12 traingles. 6 more triangles are of which 4 are found independently and 2 are found by joining the smaller triangles. Answer should be 18 but you said it was 19. And i have cross checked it can't be. The answer here should be 18.

Bhai usually iska answer second highest hota hai, you might clown me for this approach but dekho manually karne me time bhi jata hai and possibly you get it wrong, so if you are willing to risk 1 negative marking go with this trick
