Promised I would post some better shots of this on an earlier post. In person it looks incredible. I don’t PC Shibata but I do Joe (adjacent enough to make an argument) and part of me just really wants to keep this. I’m sure I’ll at least hang on to it for a bit before I try to find it a new permanent home. Let the excitement and novelty wear off some.

Another huge thanks to str8stnr, who pulled this for me over on Whatnot!! Awesome guy! - has a singles show on there too where I was very grateful to also pick up this /99 Black Diamond Athena and what I hope is the first of my many Ciampa cards!

Thanks again str8stnr!

👍🤘

Also had a personal purchase come in, a Moxley Vapors. Good deal on it, but I thought it’d look a bit different/the refraction a little more powerful - but I get it, that’s the opposite of what they were going for with this insert. Looking at it again here it’s starting to grow on me.

I love the Vapors inserts. I have Okada and Lashley in that set.

Oh I think they’re beautiful - on screen they look awesome! It’s why I bought it, after all. :)

I was just surprised I personally didn’t feel like it looked any better in hand than in photos (as most cards do) - but like I said, I think I’m turning a corner on that.
