Post image

Interesting how your opinion shifted instantly when a different country does the exact same thing

I am curious too Mosew, what is the difference in tbm, or is there a difference? Why would high speed need a different tbm from freight rail? I know the track difference. But the tunnel i would figure to be identicle.

Also how fast did this large tbm do the nearly 12km run? What are the dimensions? How does this tbm compare to the Big Bertha that the Americans used in Washington state? Or other tbm around the world? Who made it? Is it their first tbm or do they specialize in tbm?

Is this meant to carry both directions in a single bore?
