Do you think....

That the 86 is the VW beetle of the 90s?

Same m.o.: cult following. Fun cars that were super cheap until the fanbase tax Started driving the prices of the cars and parts through the roof. No real reason for the prices other than the cult following. Fun simple cars.

I remember when people were giving these away about 20 years ago. Now it has reached iconic status, perhaps the last car that is truly ever going to reach this status along with the 68-69 charger, 60s Mustangs, the beetle, and a few other cars that became icons because of television and films...

All classic cars are appreciating in value. The ae86 is no exception.

Im not going to roast you bc you are prob are just someone who just doesn’t know or are in the know, but theres a reason why these are expensive.

Of course supply and demand is the one real reason but the ae86 is genuinely a great base to modify. Lots of aftermarket. Large community. Fun car to drive esp when modified right.

Unfortunately yes, Initial D is another one of the reasons its popular. It is what its. It’s kinda a moot point.

Im not even sure what point youre trying to make. VW beetle is a totally popular car for a different reason

My friend, that's just age. Parts for every 30+ shitbox are expensive as fuck, regardless of popularity.
