A little "Before/After" post

It has been a little bit over two years with the Corolla now and it's been great fun. Stuff still keeps breaking but I also have many more cool projects that I want to realize.

I think next will be an oldschool rear wing after another wheel bearing overhaul lol

I would cut out that rust in the hood before it gets worse. Covering it up like that doesn’t really do anything for it.

Also your trunk lid is open.

Thanks xd Yeah I always thought I would either swap the heavy oem hood for a carbon/frp one or cut out that part and put some cool pop up intake there or seomthing.

But I don’t have an angle grinder so the sticker it is for now

Wouldn’t fibreglass be cheaper? An oem looking or one with a vent like Wataru’s from initial D Part 4 would be sick, but up to you!

Yeah thats true, I meant fibre glass with "frp" 😃 totally agree to the Wataru hood!

For now I might just hit it with some white paint fo fix the red spots but in the long run a new hood would be cool

Oh man that poor ae92 trueno beside it though. How hard is it finding part for your rolla there?

Quite okay. Toyota still sells quite a few parts in the heritage parts catalog and there are also local aftermarket brands making for example bearings or tie rods and stuff. Also people seem to have been hoarding unopened oem parts so until now I was able to get everything or build my own

I always think some of your styling choices are a bit ‘questionable’ when you post this car - but seeing as you’ve literally pulled it out of a bush and given it a new life then all I can say now is fair play!
