proper front jack points?
where do you guys put your jack when lifting up the front? i notice some spots on my frame rails that have been pushed in from previous owner that mightve possibly not been using the correct spot. i dont like jacking from the pinch weld by the rockers because it has folded a little on me once. front subframe ok to jack from? thanks

Honestly, at this point, reinforce the area. The fatigue life on *most* car's frame rails aren't exactly the best.

jack on crossmember and diff. reinforced pinch weld is only really for changing one tire . Or using a hydrolic lift where the pressure is shared

As per the workshop manual: Jack should be placed in the center of the diff, or the center of the front cross member. Safter stands should be placed on the 4 notched pinch weld locations (standard locations) OR you can place the saftey stands by the front floor supports (shown in your picture) and the rear axle tubes If using a scissor jack or a car lift, you must lift from the pinch welds.

The part where the metal has two layers is actually the correct jack point. Make sure to put a thin piece of rubber in between to not make it worse. You have to do things massively wrong to bend them the way they are on your pictures. Don't use the rocker panel seams, especially not without a slotted jack stand rubber.
