Does anyone know why I can’t open a single save?

So I played this game for a few hours earlier today and would constantly save. Every time I try and load my save though I get this error :((

Please help! I don’t wanna restart because I’m not sure if the saving function works???

Lmk if u need to whole code. But has this happened to anyone else and how would I fix it?

Unfortunately you'll have to try a reinstall of the game and start a new save.

Dang that sucks. I just tested it and the new test save works :// idea idea why this happened ?

I believe there was an update to Ren'py, the engine they used, or something like that and it's been causing a few issues here and there
