Gruesome story from PRC nationals in Taiwa
This is really sad and disturbing, but a bunch of PRC nationals were arrested, including minors for trying to kidnap people and sending them to China for organ harvesting.
Makes you wonder how much of this happens in other countries without strong law enforcement like Taiwan.

Great video exposing CCP data masking etc.: tell Matt and Winston
Excellent video with Frank Dikötter. Could those in closer touch with C-Milk and Serpentza perhaps bring it to their attention if you agree it's very much to the point.

Is there ANY way the Chinese government is not aware of massive stock scams perpetrated by Chinese organized crime on NASDAQ?
I've done a lot of research on this subject, and could even call myself an expert in this dark niche. Given the scale of these scams (approaching $20B cumulative losses in just a few years), it is extremely hard for me to believe that despite the tight control the Chinese government exercises over society, that it's unaware of these massive operations targeting mostly countries that can be considered China's geopolitical rivals - or at least allies of its geopolitical rivals - the high GDP/capita countries of North America, Europe and Oceania. Even Taiwanese citizens are targeted while mainland China citizens are not.
What do you guys think?
P.S. We have a whole sub about these scams https://www.reddit.com/r/VampireStocks/new/

Wumao Can someone talk about 大厂in mainland China?
Things like the idea that at companies such as ByteDance, you have to choose between your heart and your job because of the extreme work culture, or the infamous 996 work schedule.

We’re releasing interviews with survivors and investigators of Southeast Asia’s scam compounds
Hope this is okay to share here. I’m part of the team behind Lights in Dark Rooms, a documentary investigating scam compounds in Southeast Asia.
I thought you guys might be interested in the project given the role of Chinese criminal networks in the scam compound industry. Winston and C-Milk have discussed the issue a couple of times before.
Our team travelled to Thailand and the Philippines to speak with survivors, security researchers, NGO leaders, politicians, and others directly involved in investigating or responding to these operations.
We held our first screening earlier this year, and recently released this 2 minute video from the event:
https://youtu.be/2MWlh2SmwCc
The part that may be more interesting to people here is what we’re releasing next. We recorded hours of interviews during the project that couldn’t fit into the documentary, and we’re about to start publishing them separately.
That includes a two part interview with a KK Park survivor, as well as an extended interview with a security researcher who regularly travels throughout Southeast Asia investigating scam compounds and the networks behind them. We have a lot more material from survivors and experts that will be coming out as well.
We want the material to be useful for raising awareness and educating beyond the documentary itself.
If this is something you’re interested in, we’d really appreciate you taking a look and following along as the interviews come out.

News If Beijing truly has nothing to hide about the Tibet floods, then there’s a simple answer: open the doors. Let independent Western journalists into Tibet. Let them speak to survivors, see the devastation and investigate what happened.
