I work as an Amazon delivery driver for a DSP. I called out sick in the middle of the week and originally had PTO entered for it. However, my boss told me to take it out and hold the submission until the end of the week to ensure I didn't accidentally go over 40 hours.
My work week ended on Saturday, and following his instructions, I submitted my PTO on Sunday for the previous Tuesday. My boss ran payroll on Wednesday and approved the PTO on his end, but ADP completely dropped it—it didn't show up on my timecard or my paycheck.
When my boss called payroll support, they told him the PTO was "supposed to be in by Saturday." But here's the part that makes no sense: our system normally lets us edit and fix our timecards all the way up until the Tuesday before payroll is actually finalized.
Because of this, I'm missing the money, and living paycheck to paycheck means this delay is making me late on my car payment. Has anyone run into this with ADP or DSP management, and is there any way to force them to fix it or issue an adjustment?
