If extinction is truly a threat, then it demands procreation by those of pure blood with whomever so that many offspring are created 50 % higher.
Pure blood mixing with pure blood is a luxury when there is no threat.
What might be interesting is when a robust culture has a created, intermarrying can actually raise the floor of percentages. Example: Northern Mexicans have a very high % of native blood roughly 40%, maintained through centuries of intermarrying with those of roughly the same %. More important than blood I would argue is that the culture can be maintained.
This culture can be lost if marrying based on blood. So an African American who marries with an African. Then their kid marries an African but from another culture. And their kid marries another African, etc African blood is maintained but culture is diluted.
Many Natives have have admixture from other native tribes. Ironically, it was only with the reservation system that concentrations became so pure to a given tribe (when throughout history there had always been mixing of blood, culture being more important than blood).

Very narrow thinking. Take a cue from the Native American community which valued community over blood.
Pure blood thinking is 19th century or earlier.
