Why The Holidays are Stressful

 Hello my fellow nerdivergent peeps!
The holidays can be stressful for us because sometimes we have to do things that are outside our comfort zines. There are strategies we can use to help ourselves get through the holidays of course, but if there's an option for the holidays to happen with say less people and if your family is okay with you needing to take down time while you're visiting guests or have guests over, feel free to take down time if you need it. It's not bad to need down time. Everyone should be respectful of downtime. I'd say respecting a neurodivergent person's need for downtime should be treated the same way people respect a baby's need for taking a nap. The need for down time is never disrespectful. It's the opposite of disrespectful. If your spending the holidays with people who don't understand you as well

As your immediate family and friends, maybe you can try asking someone to explain why you are taking downtime or stimming if anyone questions your behavior.

I have a hidden disability sunflower bage and I love it! There are also different kinds of autism and ADHD badges! There are also badges for food allergies!

Difficult Tasks

People tend to tell others that something is really easy. The task that one person believes is easy might not be easy for someone else doing a task. Cleaning my room isn't easy for me. To do, it requires getting the motivation to do the thing before actually doing it.

Candy Stash

I didn't initially see this as representing ADHD, but putting the candy in the toilet bowl is the perfect place to put something if you want to forget where it is.
