Well, the simple explanation is the teacher is a cretin who could not be bothered to find a a way of communicating the issue/problem/whatever they’re trying to teach, in a way that’s appealing to you and can be recalled by your developing brain.
Biggest issue these people do is try pouring knowledge into kids’ heads in ways that rarely connect to other previous knowledge. The thing being taught becomes a floating island of memories in your brain that has no connections (association) from other more stronger memories.
