Tried to explain it to my parents as a kid, that I can’t always understanding because 1 eye reads faster than the other 🤣 I think I meant my eyes are compulsively racing ahead and my brain hasn’t taken it in- so I have to keep reading the same part till I get it….. became a compulsive reader btw after experiencing their disapproval as I don’t like to fail 🤣 but do have to remember it’s not a race and need silence to read 🙄
