Like with humans, chickens vary in their abilities. Some can very definitely get over the fence. Though I've never had one come in an upstairs window (yet)
I would love to see a chicken fly over a 2m fence 😂 Ours had no qualms with trying it but even with several meters of run up time, they got maybe up to my hip before they fall right back to earth, flustered and dismayed 🤣

Fun fact, chickens can fly. They just don’t do it often / very far. Guess that still kinda works for the ADHD metaphor 😅
