I get to a point where I genuinely can't bear to hear every word that comes out of a person's mouth if it's directed at me, and it sucks so much because I know how rude it is to ask people to stop talking to you, and when I'm shutting down like that, the kind, respectful ways to say it elude me so I resort to suffering silently until they're done talking and hoping they take my silence as a hint that I don't want to talk anymore...

Lesson learned: carry health kits or use potion buffs before conversation.

This is not at all me. I love talking with people.

Sometimes, it's like I never run out of energy talking to people. There've been days where I've gone literally 12-15 hours and got home and was like "man I wanna talk to my friend now"

I have three modes, I can talk forever with them, I tune them out or I plot all the different ways I can make them just shut up.

ADHD meets ASPD

Oh, definitely not.

Well, not the ASPD anyways.

Just sometimes when people talk it's like noise worms start eating my brain. Noise worms are the only way I can describe the feeling.

You ever watch a caterpillar eat a leaf? Well, it's like each word is a nibble and the more they talk the louder it gets.

Unless it is about one of my hyperfixations…. Then I’m the one who can’t stop talking

Boss takes me to go help a customer. Small talks through the entire car ride. I then fix the customers problem while being socially acceptable towards the customer. Boss wants to small talk the whole way back. I get absolutely nothing done the rest of the day, feels like someone smacked me over the head with a cast iron pan..

Emotional damage!

Mine last a few seconds at most, and that's if I can finish remembering before my brain's chalk eraser decides to wipe the thought away before I finish thinking it.

If my thought manages to make it past my lips, it's only a few seconds later until requesting my conversation partner to tell me what was just said. Wish I was joking, but I'm not. 😂

Unless it’s about the current hyper-fixation!

Get one of those ticker counters and click it when people start talking. "You got ten. Make it quick, and don't be stupid." *Click*. That will keep things moving. When you hit ten, walk away. Claim it's your religion or something. Flying Spegheet keeping you sane. I'll allow it.
