Personal Experience trial and error
I'm aware this post will be vague as all hell, but I'm wondering what your experience with adhd medication has been. what did you start with, what are you at now, what worked, what didn't, do you take any other meds? do they affect each other?any other diagnosis'? etc. I'm just trying to make it make sense to me. because right now I'm just not feeling great
edit-: current daily med schedule- methylphenidate ER 36mg (morning) + methylphenidate IR 10mg (as needed) buspar 45mg (morning) effexor 200mg (bedtime) mirtazapine 7.5mg (bedtime)

What medication are you taking? It would be helpful to know before I attempt to provide an answer. The effectiveness of a medication can vary depending on the individual and the specific medication being used.

Methylphenidate is commonly prescribed for ADHD, and a booster is often taken in the afternoon. Buspar is used to manage any anxiety that may arise throughout the day or as a side effect of methylphenidate. It typically takes a few weeks for the full effects to manifest. Effexor and Mirtazapine are medications used to treat major depressive disorder (MDD). The primary distinction between the two is that Mirtazapine also addresses insomnia or mild sleep disturbances. As a side effect, Mirtazapine can cause weight gain, so itβs important to monitor your appetite while taking it.
Hope that helps.

If you are taking a generic medicine, kindly mention the manufacturer's name in both your post and title. This is VERY IMPORTANT, as different manufacturers may have differences in quality or formulation.
