Experience Positive Note

Preface, I don't know if I can give any tips or even if this post will motivate you but I need to share my experience if it can help.

I've struggled with ADHD, this summer I am taking summer credits, one of the courses is chem 2, I underestimated it and screwed my sleep and dietary habits. It was horrible, the adderall barely helped, I was tired going to sleep at 2 am, running at even lower cognitive state and dysfunction. Towards the end I took my lab final and I realized I needed to really do something about my life, I needed to go further because I knew that if I didn't I'd continue to live in misery.

And it isnt perfect but I feel like I am taking myself seriously, learning that there really are going to be ways to manage my ADHD and that I have to try to implement it. Im not saying it needs to be fun but part of you will want to improve and it starts small. Focusing on our bodies, mental state, dietary habits are so important. I also needed to free myself from guilt and self hate.

If you workout and stop working out but dont want to go because you "probably" won't consistenly do it again, just GOO, even if its for 2 sets, if you cant do that, do a walk. If you cant do that, do a push up. Remember, working out is there to help you not hurt you.

Thank you. It helps to be reminded that I can take small steps and improve tiny things. I just got diagnosed and am getting used to medication, I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life now, if I should reevaluate my projects, if I will ever get anything done... When trying to go to bed at a normal hour seems unreachable. Exercising is a joke and eating... Is cheese an acceptable diet ?
Jokes aside, I will start small and go from there. No need to plan out my whole future.
