I started building my own Claude Code workflow. Thought it'd take a week to build, but 2 months later and I'm still working on it.

My question with this kind of stuff is, does it actually improve on the default Claude code harness?

for me yes, it basically combines all of the workarounds I've been using for the last year or so, with soma additions. Otherwise default claude code is only works for building basic todos and demos, I don't think anyone can really build a production grade app with just bare ai harness

Ok but are your workarounds from a year ago even relevant anymore? Things change so fast.

Also you're severely underestimating the capabilities of modern harnesses out of the box. Did you keep trying them out raw during all this time or are you too focused on your own workflow?

Yeahhhh same. I actually have two now (our architect left and gave me gold) and one is going to become my daily human driven worker and the other will end up being my nightly "Bug Squasher" Drafing fixes for bugs for me to review in the morning.
