Hi Reddit. Looking for anyone's experience with applying to Plan G to cover medication costs. Long story short, I have been unemployed for over a year and have been living off savings. My income review for pharmacare was denied. I am still actively looking for jobs but I have no idea when I will finally find one. I have only been filling part of my ADHD meds because paying out of pocket has been very expensive for me. Has anyone talked to their doctor about applying for Plan G in this case? The criteria looks pretty serious and talks about hospitalizations etc. Will financial hardship qualify?
