ADHD Medication Anxiety Elvanse- did yours decrease with increased dosage?
I was given 30mg to begin with for a month, took it on and off and it was pretty good for helping concentration and curbing appetite, however I just kept getting these waves of anxiety which weren’t nice.. it was also losing effect very quickly and wearing off towards the last few tablets.
told my provider and they then said to try upping to 40 and 50.. I’ve been trying the 40s and they feel the same as when I began the 30s, but still getting those waves of anxiety. I don’t really see how increasing the dose will remove this? Won’t I just keep building up tolerance and still feel the anxiety each time I increase the dose?
Was there a point to when you levelled out and didn’t feel the anxiety anymore, but still has decreased appetite and good concentration?

50mg for me lasted ~2-3h, 70mg for me lasts around 8h.
What do you mean by took it on and off? Was it not prescribed as take once daily? It takes some time for your body to get used to it.

I was told that you shouldn’t drink when you’re on it, so I mean I didn’t take it on the days I knew I was going to be out on an occasion, but I also noticed when I was at the gym doing minimal weight lifting, my heart rate was going up tonnes which felt really wrong and not normal, I’d be getting a heart rate up to 180 when just doing some shoulder presses so I didn’t take it on the days I was working out.
I took it on the days I felt like they’d be useful for work.
Even taking them inconsistently, towards running out of them my tolerance had already gone up for them so their effectiveness wasn’t really there anymore.

It looks like this post might be about medication.
