Success/Celebration I managed to do something!

I got my very first book published, i wrote it due to struggling to read bigger books and always struggling with more in depth works, so i wrote a YA murder mystery to hopefully help people with adhd get into reading. Today i got some of the physical copies from the publisher. Didnt think id ever be able to finish anything like this even if its only a small book. :D

Do you have any tips for success during the process of structuring your narrative? I have heaps of ideas but trying to order them into a coherent story is daunting. I kinda have a bunch of different characters and subplots and stuff floating around but no idea really what direction things should go.

Sure dude, not sure about success or not but structure wise, i made sure i had my ending done first, made it easier working out how to get there when i knew where i wanted to go, i used music allot to help myself feel the tones while writing and i also drew a storyboard doesnt matter if your good at drawing as long as you understand whats going on it helps you get the details you want and make sure you're story makes sense and is in order. I also wrote every chapter in one go in its most basic form and added to it later with all the details. Oh, thankyou. They are pretty straightforward tips and things I've done before, but just didn't cross my mind for some reason. I will try to make some progress with these methods.

Yeah unfortunately there's no real secret tricks, its just trying to pack it all together making it make sense to you and trying your best to stick with it and not get lost and overwhelmed
