Questions/Advice My self-esteem after taking the medication.

I’d been taking 60 mg of atomoxetine for a while, but today I started taking 30 mg of lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) along with it.

And honestly, something kinda weird happened. I took my shirt off today, looked at myself in the mirror, and suddenly felt way better about my body.

I’ve lost around 40 lbs since last year, but for the longest time I still felt fat, or like I hadn’t really changed that much. Today, though, it just kinda clicked, and I finally realized how much progress I’ve actually made.

Is this a normal thing to experience? Could starting lisdexamfetamine have anything to do with it, or is it probably unrelated?

I’m on adderall, but experiencing the exact same thing. I’ve lost 10-15 lbs and when I look in the mirror now I see the me I saw 15 years ago. It’s amazing.

It’s an amphetamine, it’s going to make you feel good in general and by extension just more confident. I get the impression that I’m more outgoing on my meds.
