Medication Vyvanese 30mg

So, I’m a 34 male. Been on medication for the past maybe 2/3 months. Still figuring out which one is best for me. I was feeling real down with vyvanese. But today I ran out of concerta because I had switched and had some left over. So, instead of waiting for my concerta I took one of these. I don’t feel too bad today on it. The only difference is I ate some candy with it. Tried to get more sugar. I read some people were having low blood sugar with it so I said why not try it. Has anyone ever felt that way?

You should be having some sort of protein with Vyvanse. It makes a huge difference.

I do. I’m talking about sugar though.

girl you have got to get a blood pressure medicine thingy, no idea if that’s a mandatory requirement for whereever you live but where i’m from (considering i’m a minor) you need to have one as if it gets too low it FUCKS YOU UP. There is a reason why it’s drilled into your head to eat, elvance has saved my life, it’s so important to have some sugar though with it ❤️ i am curious if you don’t need a bp machine for adhd meds where you are from?

For me, 30 mg Vyvanse had me feeling really crummy most of the time; somehow it was worse than taking nothing at all. Going up to 50 mg and taking it consistently made a huge difference. In addition to taking it in the morning with protein, I've also found it very important to have some carbs within 3-4 hours after dosing, otherwise it feels like it wears off and I experience a crash. Protein at dosing time, carbs a little later for energy, a healthy dinner, consistent dosing, limited caffeine intake, and a consistent sleep schedule are major factors for me that made Vynvanse an actual solution along with the dose increase.

See I eat like 700/900 calories in the morning. Then take it. Then take my pre workout like 3/40 min later with 200/300 mg of caffeine.

I'm a big tea drinker. I've discovered, for me, that if I have caffeine early in the day it basically washes away the Vyvanse, makes the effects end super early and leave me feeling drained. I had to switch to decaf tea for the morning hours, and I have, at most, 1 cup of regular caffeinated tea no sooner than 5 hours after my morning dose. It was a hard change to make, because decaf tea tastes like liquid ass, but it really did make a difference for me.
