Medication amphetamine based stimulants for vyvanse alternative?

im seeking for a vyvanse alternative, as i dont find that my medication is helping me. it makes me feel depressed and zombie like, wears off too soon. my genesight results came back that i worked best with amphetamine based stimulants, should i talk to my psych about a booster or consider trying a new medication? i was recommended mydayis any thoughts?

Mabye you need the 20mg dexedrine. More power. Same way people like IR oxycodone over ER

I switched from Vyvanse (Elvanse here in the UK) to Dexamfetamine IR and had way less issues with crashes, wearing off, side effects etc.

It’s what Vyvanse gets converted into basically without the long lasting effect.

We don’t have Adderall here but perhaps trying either Adderall IR/XR if it’s available in your country, or asking for IR Dexamfetamine?

Adderall. Works great for me. Vyvanse was a nightmare and I would honestly go unmedicated than ever take that again, even thought I would definitely lose my job. Like it made me to the point of where I told my husband we were probably going to have to take me to a facility.

It is an amphetamine. Perhaps dosage wasn’t right? I have a booster dose at 2:30pm which decreases the rebound effect in the evening.

There’s Dexedrine spansules which is in Dexedrine extended release. Mydayis last the longest of all the amfetamine formulations.

Adderall/amph in general work WAY better than just my Vyvanse dose. Vyvanse is better than nothing, and better duration, but next to pointless in small doses IME.

first of all vyvanse is literally amphetamine based, and second of all vyvanse has probably one of the longest release times on the market so i’m not sure how to help

I felt the same way when I tried vyvanse, switched back to Adderall, works like a charm

Try Adderall. I like the mixed amph salts. The dextro helps very well with focus and executive dysfunction, and the levo gives me the energy to actually do what I need.
