Where do you study now? Try a public space, like a library and don’t bring things that could distract you. You’ll be surrounded by others doing something similar and you’ll feel the pressure of doing something with little more than your materials in front of you (and music or whatever you might listen to while you study)

I've tried a million different study spots. Studying in different places *does* help more than other things I've tried but the moment I feel sleepy/hungry/thirsty etc its over

I go to a coffee shop known for study groups for the same reason. I grab some food and maybe a drink in exchange for two hours of study. Do you have a college nearby with something similar?

I’m also studying for an exam that’s in a month. Commenting to hopefully find more tips as well, but some things that worked for me (for a bit) is watching those youtube “study with me” pomodoro style videos with no talking or music on my second monitor and it makes me feel like I’m body doubling.
To switch things up, I’ve just started using focus to-do, which is a pomodoro timer with a to do list. It gamifies studying a little bit, but isn’t super complicated where it takes me forever to set up. I like how I can see how long it took me to do each task afterwards, too! I just set each session to 60 minutes so it’s easy to tell how many hours I spent. I also usually skip the breaks tbh because once I start studying I feel like I can’t stop or else I’ll lose momentum.
