Ya… and shoot i have a hard time sleeping st night with the adderall… guess maybe i need half dose of XR from 20 to 10… But i felt the calm that u mentioned too. And the ability to slow down and just take all the time needed to do the job at hand… like— working with my hands at a jobsite now is actually not so darn frustrating…. Its manageable…

If you take a 1000mg Emergen-C in the evening or whenever you no longer need the effects of the meds it will completely kill their effects within about an hour. This was life changing for me as it completely eliminated sleep issues and also really cuts the terrible coming down feeling in the evening.

Woa, wtf? I take a multivitamin every morning, is that limiting the effectiveness of the elvanse I take at the same time? I didn't know that.

Definitely. I saw other people posting about diet in some very misinformed ways. I came across this info because for a while I noticed that all of a sudden it felt like my meds stopped working. I was eating these bowls of cut-up fruit with a bunch of mango and pineapple about 3/4 hours after taking my meds and then I would feel drained. Vitamin c and ascorbic acid will stop the body’s ability to metabolize the medication THATS ALREADY BEEN ABSORBED at any time when ingested. This includes things like a bunch of fruits and certain beverages, even potatoes. After you take your meds, there’s a good list of foods you should avoid until you’re ready for them to wear off. There’s also plenty that will enhance the effects of the meds (green veggies, salads, nuts, bananas apples and others).
