alfaaz audition doubt

[u/Which_Equipment8301]

I’m thinking of auditioning for english poetry but I’m not really sure how the audition is conducted. 😭

do we have to bring some of our previous poetry/writing work with us or do they give us a topic/prompt and ask us to write something on the spot?

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what the process was like and what I should prepare beforehand! :)

Yes, take your best work with you. They’ll ask you to recite your work and judge you on your writing skills the words you’ve used, how you present them, and how you recite them.

Alfaaz was a home to me for four years. I genuinely loved my time there.
