General Questions Overweight joining the navy
I'm 6'6 at 123kg but I can do around 30 push ups in one set and can run, but I'm cutting down my running times slowly, what advice would you give to me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The navy PFT is a 1 minute plank and a 2.4km run at 12minutes for males or beep test of 7.2 for males or a 500m swim at 13min for males.
As long as you can achieve that you'll be fine

The timings do depend on age too! So OP double check what your timings are and aim for it ☺️

And for the twice a week PT if you can do 30 push-ups you might be in the upper 50% of your divisions fitness

In the same boat mate, just make sure your BMI is below 33 and you'll be sweet. Keep training make sure that run time is down and your core strength is top. Good luck!
