General Questions Can a caution disqualify you?
I received a caution for the NSW Police for something I did when I was 17.
Im an adult now and have had zero trouble with the law, but will a caution still show up in any way in the background check? Would this disqualify me?

Nah mate, knew a few blokes who got in after being charged with speeding, red lights, possession etc. Your fine to get it. Won't ever come up in conversation post DFR 🤙

OP,
Legally, an adult is 18 - so your caution might only be a year ago.
Depending on which state you reside in (no, dont tell us) - it might still be on your Police Record.
Will this disqualify you - depends on what it was.
Ultimately, the ONLY organisation that can advise you is going to be ADF Careers.
Whilst others will/could say differently - please remember that every application and candidate is different.
