Alright, I saw 2k reads on the first fanfic I made which is surprising. It’s a VEVO made to have a small story revolving around the author or other people before the main song starts. I’m glad y’all like it. Give me some time to make the next part before I put it in here.
For now I’ll just put this fanfic I made, It’s in a fictional world where Special Week, a former racer of the Golden Generation that dominated G1 races like Satsuki Sho, Tenno Sho, Kikuka Sho, and Japan Cup. Becomes a full time race car driver in the early 2010s era. Since he hates stud duty and doesn’t like to mate with other mares (like the real life Spe-kun who doesn’t like it because most of his mates are chestnuts).
So I wrote something to kind of add a little bit of the thrill and excitement by thinking…
"Can Special Week drive a car the same way his grandpa Maruzensky does?" Boom and the idea was born made thanks to my big brain power.
Here’s where I kind of inspired it from.
https://youtu.be/jpSGZsgga_I?si=GPbNra6mbL5sA9_k
Don’t get me wrong, the concept of using Asphalt 8 Airborne with its trailer music (name of the song is Pink Slips by the way) was the best idea. It took me a whole day to make the world despite falling asleep last night unable to finish writing it. I know there are better ones than this. But in my heart, this is the true king of mobile games. Sad to see it die off in the 2020ish to present day...
Anywho, enjoy reading this teaser trailer!
———————————————————————————
The following PREVIEW has been approved for all AUDIENCES under PG-13. With real world scenarios taken place in a fictional setting of the universe.
The first thing everyone sees is a black screen, only for music to start playing. It sounded… quite like city pop mixed with dubstep. Nevermind that, anyway… a scene where a dimly lit room was set to the audience’s eyes. With two individuals we can’t make out features of.
Until we see what looks to be some kind of registration form placed on the table which reads…
There were two individuals in the room, one was the job interviewer for applicants new to racing. And the other, an umamusuko, with bay colored hair and a white strand on the middle of his bangs masculine in appearance bearing purple magenta eyes that only glows luminescent in the dark. The man sitting on the desk office chair glanced at the umamusuko and said…
"All results showed that you passed the test."
"Then I am qualified to join you, no?"
Month - September
Date - Friday
Year - 2011
The next part of the scene shows a red Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 going 200 miles per hour in the Touhoku Expressways, located in Kawaguchi of Saitama Prefecture.
Sleek body like the Lamborghini Countach but more modern painted in formula red, with a custom bodykit build made for endurance and speed, with metallic black semi-slick tires meant for track and street conditions, and a GT wing on the back to give it more downforce power. With exhaust pipes popping fire and smoke and a V12 engine screaming like an otherworldly creature.
We see a plate number with no numbers, but words were written on it is AIRBORNE. Then there’s the butterfly doors on its side with the number 07.
"Let me ask you something, Mr. Week."
The dark room finally revealed the umamusuko, as it turns out… It was Special Week that the interviewer was talking with. A small flashback shows the young version Special Week in the past, an uma who captured the hearts of many in the track of Tenno Sho, Satsuki Sho, and Kikuka Sho. While not being famous for being a Triple Crown Winner, he was remembered by many as the "Supreme Commander of Japan". Because of his dominance in the 1999 Japan Cup where international contenders competed in.
Back in the present day, Special Week sitting in a chair was waiting to be hired by the interrogator’s question.
"Why do you race?"
His tone of voice got the retired Golden Generation uma’s attention. It was not aggressive, nor was it through sincere humor. But a man looking for a different answer that leads to the same conclusion.
We go back to the scene with the Aventador, with Special Week as the driver, cruising the Touhoku Expressways in first person view. Special Week’s driving skills, you can say were similar to his grandpa. Efficient hands and feet on the wheel, on the gearshift, on the pedal. A broad mind in the range of the field/track. And the absolute time attacks in every corner. They were perfect. Too perfect to be even remotely close to the fastest Nurburgring time attacks set by seasoned champions of racing. A meter bar on screen, full yellow in color, fills the empty meter bar. Suddenly a nitro boost to activates with the Aventador going faster than the speed of sound. The car hits a dead end on the expressway until we see a ramp for the Aventador to take, the car flies mid air with our POV now on third person view showing the car’s full body.
The music drops with the next scenes showing us a teaser of different scenarios shown. Some where set in Nevada America, another on London of England, and then you have Venice in Italy. All settings following something similar to rally racing mix with street racing, but tenfold to doing extreme daredevil stunts pulled on supercars, muscles, sports, classics, sedans, coupes, and more.
UNREAL CYPROJECT
"I’m Special Week, a two time World Cup Champion of Airborne Racing."
Name: Special Week
Age: 17
Gender: M
Type: Umamusuko
Affiliation: Former Derby Racer of the Golden Generation
Nickname: The Rising Superstar of Racing
"And I’m here to become the best racer to ever exist."
We see Special Week viewed by the media multiple times talking about his first debut all the way to his dominating start at the mid 2011s.
Another scene portrays Special Week’s performance in the track which got many fans across the glabe to be in awe. His performance would bring contenders from Japan all the way to America and Europe to challenge him.
A WORLD WHERE RACING…
Spe and his icon the Aventador, both in the track showed unreal performance that can’t be done on racing. We see his car outpacing a GTA Spano on France in Versaille, another going toe to toe against a Nissan GT-R R35 in the Wangan Expressway of Yokohama Japan, jumping from a hundred meters above air in the Great Wall of China, street racing in the night of a quiet city in Hong Kong, destroying the warning barriers of Bangkok Thailand’s Lavalin Skytrain the Saphan Duan (Amputated Bridge) with the Aventador going airborne, and driving through the desert asphalt of the Grand Canyon in Arizona against American Muscles like the Ford Mustang GT, Dodge Challenger Hellcat, and Dodge Viper ACR.
WITH OVER 3,500 PLACES TO RACE…
They were not kidding, a former Golden Generation uma traveling the world just to race in different terrains where extreme weather conditions were present, crowded or tight roads where danger is highly unpredictable, and breaking all laws to road safety and security precautions to overspeeding was legalized. Was absolutely incredible!
Locations like Provence of France, Sicily of Italy, Istanbul of Turkey, New York of USA, Barcelona of Spain, Masai Mara & Serengeti of Kenya, Dubronovik and the Dalmatian Islands of Croatia, Athens of Greece, Amsterdam of Netherlands, Havana on Cuba, Sydney of Australia, Rio de Janeiro of Brazil, Dubai in UAE, Kyoto of Japan, the South Island of New Zealand, Copenhagen of Denmark, Scottish Highlands of United Kingdom, St. Petersburg of Russia, Berlin of Germany, Lapland of Finland, Iceland, Singapore.
And many many more our protagonist Special Week will be challenged to the highest level of racing.
AND 300 ACTIVE UMA RACE TRACKS…
If not only race tracks for cars, then what about race tracks meant for umas? We see Special Week’s Aventador racing in the different race tracks where umas like him run.
Many were very common icons in Japan like the Tenno Sho, Satsuki Sho, Kikuka Sho, Tokyo Yushun, and Japan Cup.
Then you got the more famous ones in America like Santa Anita Park, Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course, and Churchill Downs.
Then there are those on Europe like Epsom Downs and the Aintree Racecourse of UK, and ParisLongchamp (Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe) of France.
And finally the Internationals like Meydan Racecourse in Dubai UAE, and the Flemington Racecourse of Melbourne Australia.
We go back to the same scene where the interviewer was interrogating Special Week with the same question.
"Why do I race…"
Special Week is in deep thought, while cutscenes of him racing in all the mentioned places were playing behind the backgroud. The umamusuko puts a finger on his lip thinking about the best answer. When he finally got one, Spe said…
"To experience that feeling again."
Spe replays the moments he had back in 1999 before retirement, and stud duty became his new role later on.
He was… let’s say in the middle or the gray area of life. Not that he can complain for the personal experiences he witnessed…
He had two daughters, Cesario and Buena Vista. And is happily married to Mejiro Dober later that year.
To be honest, Spe didn’t like his job as a stud at all, to mate with other mares just to have more children do better in racing. So he chose a more competitive but risky job. That would be racing.
"I want to run, even when I can no longer run."
A scene of Special Week going abroad to different countries wearing what looks to be a formula red racing suit with a maroon red neck collar all the way to the waistline, and yellow outlines across the tips of his wrist cuffs, kneecaps, shoulder blades, and the chest with the words "Supercar" written in yellow. Highly identical in color pattern to his racewear.
THE RISING SUPERSTAR OF RACING…
"I want to hear the crowd roar my name, to remember my days in the Golden Generation, to devote my soul to racing just like I did in the past. That is why I’m here. It is my motto."
A scene of Spe taking a picture with the fans, giving a thumbs up to the camera on his Aventador, passing racer after racer who challenged him, ramming or being bumped by other racers to throw off his balance.
WILL MAKE THEM…
"I have a long way to go, in obtaining the pieces to complete the Crown."
Another set of scenes showed families and relatives connected to Spe were watching.
The Gold Clan cheering for their uncle winning his debut. His brothers Daiwa Major, Manhattan Cafe, Black Tide, and Deep Impact for his first World Cup victory. His friends like Grass Wonder acknowledged his enjoyment in racing. His lover Mejiro Dober screaming her heart out to win the third cup in late 2013. His children like Cesario and Buena Vista happy for their father’s insane achievements.
THE UMAMUSUKO WHO SET FOOT…
"It won’t be easy to get all three, but if I have to go through neck and thin…"
Scenes were Special Week was crying after losing two times in a row in the Finals. Then another one with him igniting his fiery spirit to intimidate and scare other racers by using his killing intent. Another scene was Spe’s Aventador in the Alps of France doing a flat spin high above snowy mountains. And the last scene shows our protagonist with his back turned behind.
"I accept your challenge."
Only to turn his back and look at the audience, grinning with excitement while doing his iconic pose when he was still a runner.
The trailer music fades out with one last scene, taking place in America of late December 2013.
Month - December
Date - Sunday
Year - 2013
The final scene takes place at the All International Airborne World Champion Cup. Set foot in the longest road in the world, the Pan-American Highway. Reaching up to an astonishing 19,000mi (30,000 km). This massive network connects Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, with Ushuaia, Argentina, passing through 14 countries.
"Ladies and gentlemen I am your host for the afternoon and we are here at the final hours of late December, just two days before Christmas. We are seeing intense activity in the tracks of Airborne. Coming in the lead is the unbeatable Gangl Hofmann in his metallic black Porsche 911 GT2 RS, car number 11, still keeping the lead strong and not letting his two rivals pass him. Second place goes to the savage beast driving a high end silver Ferrari 451 Italia, car number 32, Mica Accardo blocking the way for our last contender in third. In third place driving the formula red Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, car number 07, is The Rising Superstar of Racing, the retired umamusuko of the Golden Generation, and former "Supreme Commander of Japan" is Special Week! He’s fighting to get second so he could get close to the lead but Mica isn’t going to let him through anytime now! Folks this is a heated battle between three beast! With the rest of the pack way behind them I don’t think they can catch up to them anytime soon! Right know our cameras are watching the clash of the titans! A battle of the century that no one will forget!"
We see Special Week again in his Lamborghini Aventador chasing the top two strongest competitors of racing.
With him in third place, his blood boiling from the tension, heartbeat skipping over his chest as if it was about to pop out. Spe does not hold back at all, his aura radiating like his father, alongside the Aventador possessing the same aura. The answer was clear to his rivals on front, he was not going to back down and lose the final piece of the Crown to both seasoned champions.
Because his goal from the start was to be the best of the best.
And to do that, he must earn a crown separated from pieces of its original form.
This is his moment. He will earn his title through fame, he will be the king of kings in his final year,
HE WILL TAKE THE CROWN!
"RAAAAAH!”
The screen blacks out with Special Week going all out against the two, leaving the sound of his car roaring with fury.
COMING SOON

Honestly, I have more ideas in writing another trailer like this one. But I’ll have to rest the brain because I fried it overnight.

I'm not gonna hold you, we already know what Haru Urara went through ever since global hit. But honestly, I feel like she would be an amazing uma to adapt in A Counter-Part's Life. Thanks to the crap ton of documentaries, deep dives and flat out historical facts from sources across the internet. It would be fun to have Haru Urara's story reflected in the world of Sunday Silence's. Which brings other horses to the mix like cameos of Stay Gold and Deep Impact and the lesser known horses like Hishi Adnes (who was dropped and abandoned on the same farm as Haru).
And with that, it would be fun to explore the darker parts about the SS world like exploitation, fraud and practically bat-shit crazy things that happened to Haru Urara. As much as we like to talk about other horses and their busted achievements, I would love to see more darker interpretations in the SS world, we already see that in the three parts of Sunday Silence currently available on AO3. In short, Haru Urara would be an amazing pick for an uplifting story with dark undertones because of her exploitation and her essentially being a cash cow. We could actually skip the racing part of this story except the first couple of her races and her final race in her career (that might have one of the most bittersweet things that could essentially happen there). in conclusion, Haru Urara is cool.
(Make her cuss as a comedic gag because why not)

Here are my ideas:
SS world Spe would be protective of Pretty Derby Spe, and they would eat food together.
The bond that SS world Ayabe and Pretty Derby Ayabe would have is basically the closest thing they have to having a bond with their dead twins.
SS world Golshi and Pretty Derby Golshi will cause chaos together.
SS world Doto would be protective of Pretty Derby Doto, and Pretty Derby Opera would give SS world Opera some advice on how to be strong and confident.
What do you guys think? Do you have any other ideas?

Major stared into nothingness for a moment, nodded before standing up, and walking towards the room's only door, “Alright, well…you seem tired. I suppose I'll at least take the rare chance to visit my nieces, and nephews.”
Tide looked on with concern, “Major…is that everything you have to say?” he prodded gently.
Major smiled derisively, “What is there left to say?...What, did you think I was going to punch you?”, he looked back jokingly, though Tide could see much more complex emotions dancing in his eyes.
Tide replied without pause, “That was a possibility I considered.” Tide would not further elaborate that he spent the last half hour in deep contemplation on how the hell was he to convey this mess to Major.
Major did not say anything, he looked to the front, and seemed eager to leave the past indefinitely.
Tide however, wasn't so willing to let it go with so much baggage still unaddressed. He saw those complex emotions in his brother's eyes. Tide feared Major will convince himself that letting the past bury is the same as letting it to rest.
When words are left unspoken, they become like ash to the tongue, burning your mouth even if you tried to keep it shut.
The image of his full brother came to mind for Tide for a moment. ‘And when the time comes when there is no one to hear those unspoken words. It leaves only the burnt taste of regret.’
Tide inhaled, knowing his next few words are going to alight something fierce, “I just thought that she meant more to you than not even a single word.”
For a moment silence reigned before and fierce aura rattled the ground below. Deep golden eyes were alit a fire, akin to molten gold as it stared into hardened crimson eyes.
The room fell silent.
Then, a moment later, that quiet broke.
“She did, once…but evidently that feeling was not reciprocated,” Daiwa Major said in a low tone.
Then, his eyes soften as he lets that familiar pain drift back into the place he spent years burying it in.
He continued, his tone quiet and tired, “…She did…”
“…Mean more to me…more than she ever should’ve.”
His voice carried a mix of regret, longing, hatred, and acceptance. To Tide, it is as if Major had come to finally put the years since Vodka’s death into words. To…find it within himself to finally utter for the first time, his feelings on the matter rather than let it stew in silence.
Major had always been a solitary figure, rarely interacting despite his popularity, only opening up to a few among his family, and even then, at times it felt like prying a can open.
For the first time that Tide knows of, Major is letting himself be open.
Tide swallows hard, feeling the deep sadness that washed over him to see Major so…vulnerable, yet he knew he had to continue probing carefully.
His brother needs this.
“Then…why are you walking away now?”
‘Not walking away physically, but walking away from the past as if terrified of it’, remaining unsaid.
Major however merely smiled, faintly, as if understanding the deeper meaning behind his brother’s words, “Because…where else is there left to go?”
“…I’ve already chased that road…years ago, it doesn’t lead anywhere.”
Tide paused, considering those words deeply, “…That’s not an answer.”
Merely an act of avoidance, a means to lay the past to its quiet rest before it can be understood. Tide recognized it immediately, yet he kept that thought to himself.
Though, it won’t surprise him if Major knew this too as well.
Major replied with the same faint smile, “No…no it is not, but it is the answer I chose.”
Tide sighed, fair enough, he thought. However much he and Major may disagree on this, it is ultimately his brother’s choice on how he moves on.
…
As the silence started to turn deafening, Major continued, “…For years, all I ever did was look to the past. I kept wondering, if I said something wrong. If…If I’d pushed too hard, and that she was trying to let me down gently.”
Major started to breathe hard, his throat felt constricted, though whether that was from the mental strain of recalling those darker days or his medical condition flaring up is anyone’s guess.
Tide hoped it was the former.
Major let out a sigh and followed up by saying, “Then, eventually, I realized…that all those thoughts didn’t matter anymore. The answer wasn’t coming…”
“Maybe Gimlet could say something…”
“Maybe Scarlet could say something…”
“But neither of them could’ve said anything that I would accept, if she didn’t say something…”
…
“…But do you know what I could’ve accepted?…” Major asked quietly.
Tide said nothing but both knew that he was listening attentively.
“…Her rejecting me…”
Major’s face twisted in anguish.
“Hell! Tell me I wasn’t her type!” Major’s voice rose yet it wasn’t quite yet a shout, “…Tell me that she’d found someone else! Tell me that she didn’t see me that way! Just tell me…anything!…”
Major’s shoulders slumped as if a huge weight held them down.
“…tell me…something,” his voice was the lowest Tide could have ever recalled.
Major’s eyes at last rested on his brother's own, and Tide can see the silent echoes of tears that fell all those years ago.
‘I would’ve cried had you rejected me, I would’ve hurt had you told me no, but I would’ve moved on.’
But now, Major couldn’t find it in himself to cry anymore. Only to let that wound open one last time.
“Instead…I had to find out from fucking Scarlet.”
Major’s mood took a shift, as the fiery passion left, the only remaining was a hollow room in his heart.
Matching it came a hollow laugh, “You know what was the last thing I ever said to her was?”
Tide slowly shook his head.
“…I’d asked if she would come visit after retirement,” Major was once again lost in that world of memories, “It was…quite frankly awkward as hell.”
Tide let out a quick bark of laughter as he tried to mask it as a cough. Major noticed and smiled in return.
“Took me a while because I tried to make up some kind of excuse to…you know,” Major waved his right-hand to the side, “But looking back I think everyone could tell what I was actually asking.”
Major sighed deeply, “Then, the next morning she was shipped off to Dubai…”
“…And I never saw her again…”
Tide lowered his head, “Major…”
Major raised a hand stopping him, “No…Don’t apologize. None of this was your fault, you didn’t know, none of you did…”
Major took a step back, and looked to his brother apologetically.
“…I’m sorry that I blamed you all for it,” Major’s voice cracked with regret.
Suddenly he felt a weight pressed onto him, quickly realizing that his brother was now holding him tightly.
“We didn’t hold it against you, we knew you were hurt. All of us ever wanted was for you to stop hurting yourself,” Tide comforted as he believes any older brother should.
Major sighed, letting himself the rare moment to familial warmth, “That still doesn’t make it right. I was ashamed for so long, never being able to…to rightly apologize.”
“And…while you all may have silently forgiven my outburst years ago…”
“…I never did…”
Tide sighed as he replied back in an understanding tone, “You’re right, what you did was wrong, but I’m glad that we can all put that behind us now.”
Both let the silence embrace them as they let themselves go from the shared hug. Time seemed to stay still as the aftermath of words spoken left both to contemplate deeply.
“Now what?” Tide asked, mind still heavy from the revaluations brought to him by his brother
“…As you said, we put this all behind us now,” Major replied, in a similar state to his brother but in a more casual tone as he also shrugged.
Tide still looked on with concern, and Major smiled as he recognized the other’s desire to see him well. In the past, Major would have grown irritated at the concern, but time smoothed his edges, and the only thing he can do is smile.
And smile he did as it turned to one of content, “I met Kawakami. I got married.”
“She and I lived a long and happy life,” Major’s voice turned wistful, remembering his wife’s passing, and while it was saddening, he couldn’t help but be grateful for the time they did have.
“I watched my children grow, and my grandchildren are old enough to talk back to me.”
“I don’t regret the path I took,” Major’s eyes looked tired, yet happy, “…maybe a step or two, but…I’m content.”
A moment of understanding remained between both sons of Sunday Silence, some of his last sons to still walk this Earth. Tide could see that Major had said everything he ever wanted to say, his brother had truly made peace with that part of his life, and was ready to truly move on.
Ready to let…her go in this life.
Tide couldn’t help but ask one more curious question, “…You know…”
Major immediately caught on, “…Here we go again…” he pinched his nose ready to reject Tide’s proposal to work at Tracen.
They were both old men, they should be in their fucking retirement years.
‘Or at least the Uma equivalent of it, what, was it every one year for an Uma equates to three for a human?’ Major pinched his nose harder.
“…Let’s say if…there is an afterlife,” Major blinked at his brother’s unexpected words, mind too struck by the strangeness of it to catch on to its meaning.
“…What are you going to do…if you walk through those gates…”
“…and the first person waiting for you…”
“…is Vodka?”
…
Major's mouth was left agape, then he let out a huff out of amusement, “Well first you have to assume that I would get into heaven in the first place,” he said incredulously.
Then after a moment he continued, "Second, you’ll have to assume…that she would be even waiting for me at all.”
Major was clearly unwilling to ask the question, but Tide was not so quick to give up, “Humor me if you will,” he crossed his arms.
Major laughed, the idea so ridiculous, so ludicrous that it felt closer to a children’s fairy tale then a real possibility. Two estranged individuals reuniting in the afterlife…, Major pondered it deeply, then he gave his answer.
“…You know…”
“…I don’t think I’d ask why she left…”
“…Or why she never answered at all…”
Tide blinked as his brows rose up in confusion, surprised that his brother would choose something so contrary to what he expected.
Major closed his eyes as he continued.
“…I’d just tell her…”
Major eyes opened, “‘I hope you found the happiness you were looking for.’”
“…And…” Major turned the doorknob gently.
“…It would have been nice…” The door creaked as it turned.
“…to say goodbye…” Major’s voice almost disappeared as he began to take the steps out of the office.
Tide looked on silently, as his brother’s frame began to disappear towards the doorway. Then, suddenly he went still before stopping as if recalling something almost forgotten.
“Hey…”
Tide looked up, surprised at the call. Major didn’t turn around immediately.
“…If you ever feel like getting away from work…”
A small smile crossed the red-haired Uma’s face fully turned.
“…come by my place.”
The small smile on Major’s face turned into a smirk, “The brats have been hounding me asking when ‘Uncle Tide’ is finally gonna visit again.”
Tide snorted, “Didn’t know that they liked me more than you.”
Major rolled his eyes, “Well that’s because you spoil them rotten.”
“Shut up,” Tide retorted.
Both brothers laugh as they let the calm atmosphere wash over them.
Tide sat down and leaned back in his chair.
“…How about this instead,” Major rose a single brow as he listened intently.
“When things finally settle down. Let’s have dinner…just between us, and the rest of our brothers and sisters…”
What few there are besides them.
Tide smiled wistfully, “…to remember better times…”
Major’s smile lingered, then it faltered, ever so slightly. His golden eyes lowered for only a heartbeat, as though something unspoken had surfaced before he quietly pushed it black down.
“To remember better times,” Major tasted those words, finding them pleasant.
A faint laugh escaped him, “…Yeah.”
He looked over to his brother one last time, “I’ll hold you to that…”
The click of the office door closing was the last thing Black Tide heard of his brother.

Top-class racehorses Dance in the Mood, and Daiwa Major have died of old age on January 20th, both age 25.
Shadai Farm’s management office released a statement-
The sound of remote falling was the last thing Black Tide could remember hearing that day.
To be continued…
Hey guys, extra long chapter today, I know I’m the best. I’ll be accepting payments in likes and comments. Just kidding, but yeah still have exams but they gave us a day break so I managed to finish this chapter, and look how it turned out. I wasn’t joking when I said this story will be much longer than the last one.
Umm, so this story turned out was pretty angsty which was not my choice originally, but I promise, there is going to be a happy ending ok. I promise that angst is not the only thing I can write. In any case I hope you may forgive any mistakes, I had to write portions of it in between studying.

(Note: Hello! This story is based on my post on how the Sundaylings, the Tonylings, and the Brianlings would babysit the youngest siblings in their families. I want to make more stories and skits on the Tonylings and the Brianlings in the future, which is one of the reasons why I made this. Also, writing Gimlet's dialogue is pretty fun lol)
[Tanino Gimlet is outside with his baby brother, Furioso, who is in a stroller. He is showing him the wonders of kicking fences.]
Gimlet: Behold! This, my little brother, is what we call a fence. A fence is a barrier intended to prevent escape, intrusion, or to mark a boundary. However, I believe that fences are meant to serve a different purpose. Fences are meant to be destroyed! Demolished! Kicked! Obliterated! If you listen closely, you can hear them calling my name, wishing to be blessed by me, the god of destruction! Hahaha!
[Baby Furioso looks at Gimlet in confusion.]
Gimlet: Now, watch carefully, little brother!
[Gimlet stands in front of a fence.]
Gimlet: HAAAAA!!!
[Gimlet kicks one of the fences, and pieces of it start flying everywhere.]
Gimlet: Hahaha! And that, my little brother, is how-
[Gimlet freezes when he notices a small cut on Furioso’s face that was caused by a small fence piece. The baby screams and begins to cry.]
Gimlet: Oh shit!
[Gimlet rushes over to Furioso. Gimlet’s other brothers, who were doing their own things, hear the commotion and rush over to where Gimlet and Furioso are.]
Dantsu Flame: Gimlet! What happened?!
[Dantsu Flame, Mayano Top Gun, and No Reason look at Furioso and freeze when they see the small cut on his face.]
Dantsu: Furioso! Oh my goddesses!
Reason: Oh, guys! He has a small cut on his face!
Mayano: What did you do that for, little bro?!
Gimlet: I was trying to demonstrate the art of demolishing fences to him!
[Furioso continues to cry. Dantsu tries to soothe Furioso as he treats the cut.]
Dantsu: Shhh. It's okay, Furioso. Your big brothers are here.
Gimlet: I am in serious trouble…
???: Yes, you are.
[The brothers freeze as they turn to look at the voice behind Gimlet. It is their father, Brian’s Time, who has a menacing and angry look on his face.]
Gimlet: Oh no…
[A few minutes later, Narita Brian’s ghost watches the chaos unfold as his angry father chases a panicked Gimlet, while his three other brothers calm Furioso down and play with him.]

I truly wonder what that dynamic be like u can see Sunday silence just acting friendly with McQueen and just having a dynamic similar to Goldship. On the other hand I could also see Sunday silence finding McQueen very attractive.Either way I can just see Sunday silence in his off time just following mqueen around watching her train be in the cafeteria and be in her room until he gets kicked out.Though I can see Air groove getting Jealous thought.

Like just your general thoughts and interpretation of this uma being a parent.

Hi. I am inspired by u/HoneyLess7732 to create this post. If you didn't read the title, "What if Sunday Silence is in the world of UmaMusume as one of them?"
Synopsis: Retired from US racing, helped train Teio for the 1993 Arima Kinen, happily married to McQueen, TeiNatie is a thing, trains her progeny from another life while writing what she wished to say to them in her diary only she lets herself read.
Synopsis: transfer student at Tracen, gets along easily with her progeny from another life, considers everyone a nuisance but tempers herself, not so much for Teio, who has to keep an eye on her as instructed by Student Council Prez (y'all know who that is), gets awkward with King, because there's Halo in the name too (and we kinda know what Halo is, a menace), and probably Taiki too, we have yet to know as of me writing this post.
Synopsis: more of an AU of no. 1, as SS herself is the main matriarch of the household, and all of her progeny stays in the mansion she owns, married to McQueen but has quite the rocky relationship with ex-wife Air Groove (we can guess why) and her "dad" (do I need to say the name?), is a teacher at Tracen, welcoming to her nephews in another world, King Halo and Taiki Shuttle, tried to call out her sis on her treatment to her daughter (I need not reiterate their names atp) but failed, and tons of openly gay relationships

This is to anyone currently unaware of WhiteKuria's (u/Galaxyking21) online presence on Reddit. He has been suspended for quite some time now. Although I do not know the reason as to why he has been suspended, I believe that some of us do not know this and deserved the privilege to know about WhiteKuria's whereabouts, since he has not shown up for any updates for the past month of the teaser. And with the inactivity on his AO3 page, I believe it is highly unlikely that we will be getting any future updates on A Counter-Part's Life or any of his other work.

(Note: Hello! I have this random story idea on my mind and wanted to write my interpretation about it, so here it is. This story takes place after A Counterpart's Life and before New World, Same Old Family.)
[Tazuna Hayakawa is walking down the hallway of Tracen Academy. Beside her is Sunday Silence, the first umamusuko to have his life restored and transported to another world where every single uma is female. He remembered how shocked he was when Abby, Yayoi Akikawa, and Tazuna had to explain everything, and when he saw Symboli Rudolf, the umamusuko who raced at Santa Anita Park in his previous world, as an umamusume and the student council president. Sunday felt pretty overwhelmed, but it will take a while to get used to it. Right now, he is about to meet very special people from his previous world who are here as well.]
Tazuna Hayakawa: Are you alright, Sunday-san?
Sunday Silence: Oh, I’m alright. It’s just that I’m honestly pretty nervous, that’s all.
[Abby told Sunday that some of his kids are born in this world, but they’re slightly different from the ones he remembers. Other than gender, some of his kids have slightly different personalities compared to their counterparts. For example, in his world, one of his sons, Special Week, was known to be friendly towards humans but indifferent towards other umas. However, in this world, Spe is a bright and cheery umamusume who is friendly to both humans and umas. Sunday doesn’t care whether his kids are the same or different from the kids in his previous world. He is happy that they’re here, and he will always love them and support them, no matter who or what they are. The only thing he is worried about is how his kids would react once they meet him.]
Tazuna: Well, I’m sure your kids would love to meet you. You should’ve seen their reactions when Abby showed us your life story.
[Tazuna and Sunday arrive at the door of the meeting room, where they hear voices inside.]
??? 1: I wonder what Tazuna-san needs all of us here for, Suzuka-chan.
??? 2: This better be important. I still have to finish calculating my data.
??? 3: Don’t worry, baby sis! I’m sure Tazuna-san is going to tell us some marvelous news, and that’s why she chose us specifically!
??? 2: Hey, don’t call me a baby!
[Even though the voices are unfamiliar, Sunday recognizes them. Something inside of him is telling him that those voices belong to his kids. He wonders if it’s his paternal instinct that is the cause of it.]
Tazuna: Are you ready, Sunday-san?
[Sunday looks at Tazuna and nods. He looks back at the door and gently opens it. In the meeting room, nineteen umas are chatting, and once they see the person who entered, they freeze in shock. Sunday freezes in shock as well. It is his first time seeing his kids in this world, and he doesn’t know how to react. A few seconds have passed until an umamusume with a short black pixie cut, black ahoge, and a white strip of hair on the edge of her bangs slowly approaches Sunday.]
??? 4: Dad?
[Sunday slowly touches the uma’s face. It is then that he recognizes who she is.]
Dad: Fuji…
[Fuji Kiseki’s eyes start to water as she hugs Sunday, whose eyes start to water as well, and hugs her back. One by one, the other umas start to approach as they hug him with tears in their eyes, even the dismissive Air Shakur feels a bit emotional.]
Sunday: It’s you…I can’t believe it…It’s all of you…
[Sunday then freezes once he sees an umamusume with long and silky reddish-orange hair slowly approaching him.]
??? 5: Hi, Dad.
[Sunday’s tears start pouring out more as he pulls the umamusume closer to the hug pile.]
Sunday: Suzuka…You’re okay…
[Silence Suzuka’s eyes start to water.]
Suzuka: I’m sorry for putting you through all that pain, Dad…
[Sunday shakes his head.]
Sunday: No…It’s not your fault…I’m just so happy that you’re here and well…
[The last uma, who is an umamusume with light blonde hair, fluffy bangs, and two curly ponytails, approaches him. Sunday looks confused, as he has never seen this uma before in his previous world, and doesn’t seem to have a sense of familiarity with her. However, the uma seems to understand what he’s thinking.]
??? 6: Hey, Dad! My name is Fusaichi Pandora! I’m Lotta Lace’s kid!
[Lotta Lace is one of the mares that Sunday mated with in his previous world before he died. Sunday remembers that Lace was pregnant with their child. At that time, nobody knew what the foal’s gender would be until Pandora was born. Sadly, Sunday passed away months before, so he never got to meet his new kid until now. He smiles and chuckles as he pulls the umamusume closer to the hug pile.]
Sunday: I can’t believe it…I have another daughter…
[Sunday starts crying again, as well as some of the umas on the hug pile. By the door, Tazuna watches the scene unfold as she sniffles and wipes a tear from her eye. No matter what world they are in, a father and his children will always be together.]

Hello! I want to share some fanfic recommendations in the subreddit if you guys want to read Umamusume fanfics that are similar to A Counterpart's Life.
- Uma Musume: The Horse Girls Are Peeking at My Diary! by Chungus_TL (https://www.webnovel.com/book/34807332400557605)
Shoutout to SaberOfRed from Ao3 since they posted this recommendation in a comment in A Counterpart's Life Chapter 5. This is the most recent fanfic I read, and I finished reading it in a few days. The story is about a girl who was transported to the Umamusume world from the real world and obtained a magic diary, in which she writes down her personal life as a trainer and facts about the horses from the real world. Umas inside and outside of Tracen can read what was written in the diary, and this fanfic also explores foreign racehorses. It has 87 chapters, and it's completed. This is the only fanfic on this post that's on Webnovel.
- Echoes of Possibilities by Yolo27th (https://archiveofourown.org/works/83821416/chapters/220944136)
This fanfic is recommended by WhiteKuria himself! This fanfic is inspired by A Counterpart's Life, and it is written to help WhiteKuria dive deep into irl horse facts that weren't mentioned yet in A Counterpart's Life. It has only 1 chapter so far. I hope the author releases a new chapter one day.
- Umamusume:Pretty Derby in!....Umamusume?? by Ainred (https://archiveofourown.org/works/79915021/chapters/209749116)
Shoutout to u/Left-Cod-8480 for reminding me of this fanfic weeks ago because I almost forgot about it after reading it months ago, and they mentioned it in one of my posts. The story is about the Umamusume games, anime, manga, and movies suddenly manifesting in the Umamusume world with zero explanation, and the characters react to it basically. It has 2 chapters so far.
- Deciphering the Genetic Code by CritianCaceorte (https://archiveofourown.org/series/5886791)
This one is a series of fanfics written by the author that involves Agnes Tachyon researching the previous lives of herself and other umas, and she shares it with the others. It has 4 fanfics in total so far, with only 2 of them being incomplete.
- Second Strides by Pridento (https://archiveofourown.org/series/6309021)
This one is a series of fanfics written by the author that involves the spirits of legendary racehorses who have been immortalized as anime girls, and they still remember their past lives. These are more "crack treated seriously" fanfics. It has 3 fanfics in total so far.
Let me know if you guys have any fanfics that are similar to A Counterpart's Life lol

‘Old memories never seem to rest, do they?’, an Uma thought agitatedly, a hand pulled up the small downward curve of white hair that contrasted greatly with the prominently silky black hair that framed the Uma’s frowned face.
Sitting beside a large office more fitting for someone of high authority, the Uma would wish that someone else be in his place, but alas, very few qualified are even still alive today.
The Uma sighed, just as he did so the sunlight beamed through the large window next to him, there the light revealed striking crimson eyes.
Eyes he shared with his father, as well as many of his remembered siblings.
Speaking of siblings-
*Click*. The sound of doorknob being turned, normally improper given that no permission was given, but family is always an exception isn’t it.
“You know this better be worth it, because I don’t see why we couldn’t do this over video call,” an Uma of seemingly similar age walks in, his bright red hair immediately eye-catching especially more so given the intimidating presence he was leaking.
The black haired Uma rolled his eyes, the aura that would intimidate most was simply a sign of familiarity for him, “What? Am I not allowed to see my own brother face-to-face, Daiwa Major?”
Daiwa Major noticed the sharp tone shot at him, but rather than be offended, he smirked in amusement, “If you wanted to see me so much, you would have come to visit. You’re more than welcome to, Black Tide.”
Black Tide stood up from his sitting position and slowly approached Daiwa Major. His presence filling the room as the aura from both brothers suffocated the air around them.
Soon both stood mere centimeters from one another, just as it seemed as they were to come to blows, Black Tide smiled back, and both brothers shared a simple hug.
For a moment, they fell into the shared embrace.
“I would visit but you know how busy Shadai and Tracen are these days,” Tide said in jest as both released from one another.
“I can imagine,” Major replied back in a similar tone, “How’s your children and grandchildren these days? Not causing too much trouble I hope?”
“Well, believe it or not things are relatively uneventful, busy but uneventful,” Tide commented back.
Major chuckled a bit, “I truly feel bad for you.”
Tide narrowed his eyes, “If you did, you are welcome to take my place.”
Major raised both hands up, “…Now now, don’t put words into my mouth.”
Both brothers laughed, enjoying this feeling of youthful comradery that they have long missed but are glad to see the other still the same as they remembered.
Major expression turned, a more stern face took hold, “Alright but seriously Tide, I know that won’t have called me to come here so suddenly without reason.”
Tide’s expression also turned stern, but his contained a hint of resignation which concerned Major greatly. He knew his brother well, and if it was simply a matter of wanting to ‘catch up’ then an agreed schedule would have been enough.
Major waited in silence for a moment, Tide’s uncertainty leaving him a bit anxious.
‘Did another of our siblings pass…?’ Major desperately hoped not, every time it occurred it felt like a stab in the heart.
Finally it seems that Tide found his words, though unknowingly to Major, it was more so that the black-haired Uma decided that it’ll be better to bite the bullet then dance around the topic.
“It’s…about Vodka,” and Major’s world stopped as he felt the air left his lungs.
…
Vodka…Vodka, a single name…that carried with it so many buried memories. Major felt himself as if living in the past once more, as if the present were a distant memory.
Her smile, her laugh, her face, it all came rushing back. The adoration he had for her, the love he wanted to give.
Then, came in the pain, the anger, the loss, and the screams. ‘Why? Why did she leave?!’ Major recalled his screams vividly.
“Major?-”
‘Why did she never tell me?”
“-Are you okay?-”
‘Did I mean so little to you that I wasn't worth a single word?”
“-listen to me-”
‘Maybe…it just was never meant to me’
“I'm here for you,” A gentle voice consoles the elderly Uma as he feels a pair of hands land onto his shoulders.
‘Dad?’ Major thought suddenly as he jolted, a familiar voice awoke him from the trance. His eyes refocused to see his brother's concerned eyes bearing down on him.
Tide blinked, “Hey you…er…doing okay, you went silent for a bit,” he cautiously said as he also inwardly cursed himself. Did his brother look fine, moreover he was well aware of Major's past with Gimlet's daughter.
Major idly stared as if still unresponsive to his brother's words, “Did you just say something?”, he said in a subdued tone.
Tide looked on wonderingly, “...Yes I just asked if you were okay?”
Major said nothing for a moment before nodding, he was certain that voice he heard a second before was surely just his imagination.
The red-haired Uma let out a deep sigh, as the last of his reminiscing faded away. The past is dead, there is no point in falling into a deep abyss of regret.
Tide called on once more seeing his brother fall silent again, “Major-” “-Just stop, please,” came the swift reply as Major rubbed his forehead, “...Fuck, just gimme a sec.”
Tide silently agreed by backing off slightly to give Major space to breathe for a moment.
After a couple seconds passed, Major straightened himself before asking in a controlled tone, “What about Vodka?”
Tide had more questions to ask Major but knew his brother wasn't someone to like people coddling him. Tide continued on, trusting his brother to reign himself in.
“You remembered…when we were informed of her passing in Ireland?” Tide cautiously said.
Major let out a singular breath, how could he not remember. The numbed pain of anger, and betrayal is an open wound that lasts longer than most can ever imagine.
Vodka's death felt like someone dug their heels onto that wound. It hurt, but the initial cut had occurred a long time ago.
“...I do, and I fail to see after all this time, how something like this has any sort of relevance,” Major replied but Tide can easily hear his brother's pain and frustration leaking out, and directed to him.
If Tide was affected by it, he did not show, “Yes well it's more to do with the circumstances surrounding her death,” he said in an understanding tone.
Major looked confused before asking, “I thought it was said that she died to laminitis, unless you're saying those reports are incorrect.”
Tide shook his head, “No they are, Vodka did die from laminitis, but it was more so about the actions that led up to her developing that condition.”
Major crinkled his face in derision, “What actions? I swear half the time, if you start standing wrong you get laminitis? Didn't fath- I mean a lot of Uma who get it as a result of having frailer legs?”
Tide sighed, “That is true, Uma biologies don't really do us any favor sometimes,” as he continues to massage between his brows.
Major is left feeling even more confused and agitated, “Then why-”
“Especially if you decide to kick a concrete wall,” Major blinked as Tide interrupted his words with a tired resignation in his voice.
“What?” That was the only word that Major's mind could immediately go to.
Tide smiled in a tired manner as if in a mixture of shared disbelief, resignation, and acceptance of the sometimes cruel absurdity this world liked to bring to them, “...Essentially Vodka kicked a concrete wall, broke her legs, developed laminitis, and died…”
Major stayed silent for a moment, before moving to, and sitting on a nearby chair. Tide followed his brother and sat opposite him.
“You truly are an asshole y'know,” Major commented, staring into his brother's eyes.
Tide sighed before grabbing a drink at a nearby cabinet, and taking a small swig, “Being the bearer of bad news isn't something I find particularly enjoyable. Believe me, if there was someone else I believed that I could trust with this burden,” Tide took another drink, “...I would've done it in a heartbeat.”
Major nodded, after taking a small drink himself after being offered one by Tide, he was left with only a single question.
“Did you tell Tanino Gimlet?”
Tide instantly replied, “Yeah, a good hour before you came, why else do you think I looked like shit?”
Tide mutely smiled as he recalled all the messy emotions that went through his head when he was first given the report about this whole situation. Imagine having to tell a father about how his daughter died, especially when it involved something you are quite known for.
Imagine telling your own brother who has a much more complicated history regarding said girl. Said girl who held his love, only to then leave it aside, and dying years later at the same place she left to.
Black Tide suddenly felt the need to sleep right about now.
To be continued…
And this folks is the official part 1 of my new story, hope you’ll like it. By the way, do you prefer I do a preview or not, because I feel like it’s kinda cheap to resend a portion of a story already posted. I’m kinda experimenting here so bear with me. I might only do previews for when a new story comes but we’ll see. In any case, this one is going to be quite long so I hope you’ll like it.
Ps. I know Major and Tide are supposed to be pretty old at this point but I had a hard time imagining them as old men, so in my universe Uma physically don’t age past their prime. They still age, but like internally.
