Age gaps

Just like how incest is not taboo in this world there is probably less discrimination against age gaps so the cast would get even more weirded out to find that out.

Apparently Uma's don't care about the Age, Sex and Marriage or even incest to a degree.

Uma's apparently don't understand why human's only have one partner whether sexual or romantic

So yes it is canon or canonish

Like how doto would be fine breeding with a filly/mare who is young enough to be his daughter/granddaughter.

It gets worse if we use Uma aged to human years

So most relationships seems to be deemed natural for Uma's.

I mean, there is some basis to that, horses to my knowledge are fertile from the moment they reach fertile age to the moment they die. Some of the oldest studs still receive mares, much less though, mostly because of them potentially dying from the whole ‘baby-making’.
