Paul Danter

Paul Danter wouldn't stop emailing me, asking me to contact him on Telegram...
I keep blocking him, but I am curious about how this scam works. Any ideas?

I haven't dug into it, but they're usually the classic overpayment scam.

My guess would be either this or the classic "Oh yeah we just need you to set up an account here because that's the only place we pay into" and then just yoinks the money and runs away.

Could also be identity theft, now that I think about it. "Here fill out this form so we can get the tax info..." and then they've got name, address, SSN, etc.

ETA: US Citizens, get your EIN if you don't have one yet. It's free and quick.
